This reminded me something that I feel like I really need to keep in mind at the moment. I will ALWAYS be ok. Whatever happens doesn't fucking matter. I am resilient, I am competent, I am stubborn, I have a high tolerance for pain and discomfort, I am resourceful to the point of scrappiness, and I am helpful enough *always* that when *I* yell for help I get it.
WORD! You're a strong woman and you got this! And it's good to have a vent and go for a rant, very understandable. At my work i'm also getting closer and closer to escalate some things...
Having someplace like this, where I CAN vent, and be listened to but not...coddled or babied (bc I can't afford to be squishy right now) is so fucking valuable to me, especially in this current situation.
Failed at veggies yesterday but had an awesome day off. Played mtg w Twitchy, got a nice brunch w an old friend from former job, found a fun new show to binge (making the cut).
Today's workout was shoulders. Same Circuit, reps went down as weight went up. 2,5,8.
lateral raises, front raises, round the worlds, w presses, up rows, alt punches.
Taking hubby's shark to vet today

'rin I'd love to send you some coping skills if I could, I've got those in spades. I think a lot of it right now is the fact that nothing has really changed for me, we had a total of 4 stay at home days before collectively deciding it would not work.
Stay safe on the subway and remember for all those mask free people you can at least ask them to stay 6 feet away if they don't want to wear a mask. Also carry a yard stick (arm + 3 free = 6 feet) and beat them until they back out of range.

I'm sure Kanary would agree with me that a bokken would work just as well since it's only a bit longer than a yardstick and more durable, to boot.
LOL AzercordwjsKanary ...I HATE carrying extra shit or I so would just to get ppl to give me space. Maybe in a month or so when it's still dangerous but ppl are complacent I will. I have a wooden samurai sword, I'll just strap it to my back lol.
Thanks CODawn and PetiteSheWolf that really made my day (and having popped into both of those briefly while in Paris I approve of your choice in stores, lol...if the store doesn't have shoppers there may be freelance ones you can hire but those are NOT cheap - you are better to enlist a fashionable friend at that point, unless you are literally replacing whole wardrobe at which point paying someone might be sensible so you end up w a coherent wardrobe not just a pile of new cloths).
Yesterday was sloth, missed active goal, missed 100oz fluids. Took hubby's shark cat to vet and got scolded for years of not (I did take her to get shots at some clinic at least but she was healthy gdi, I don't get checkups either) and am spending 700$ which I don't rly actually have to spare on blood tests that will hopefully give me an answer bc she IS skinny.

Hope you get explanations about Shark Cats thinness, or at least reassurance that metabolically speaking kitty is fine... And giggles about the choice of stores!
I don't if it'll work in NY but you could start coughing and sniveling if someone does that again. And if they're not bothered, keep up the act but go find another seat. Saying, idk... "sorry but I'm not completely well today"
At least you got a nice workout out of it...
