Today was part of my ongoing metaquest to not let my annoyance at what I can't do stop me from doing what I can. Hardcore, all out, cardio is not a strength of mine. But. I can walk 30+ miles in a day w a pack on my back and be fine the next morning... steady state is my favorite thing. So. Instead of getting discouraged at the thought of endless high knees this morning...

Pullup Practice - 3 sets 5 Scapula pulls intermittently
Stretched, did not beat self up, heading to work.
Amused at todays workout title, mostly bc if I don't get my tail out of the kitchen at night I will look like that >.> had my 4th drink of the week last night.

Going to see Wrinkle in Time tonight w the old roomates. Not that I have business spending atm but, I think it's important to support opening weekend numbers for this. If I am going to complain about lack of women directing, lack of STEM roll models for girls, and lack of diversity in casting... when one film checks all those boxes (AND is based on a book I loved as a kid) I need to put my $$ where my mouth is and show up.

Have you tried assisted pullups with a band instead of the machine? I ask because the assistance is much different than with the machine. It will offer more resistance/help at the bottom and slowly reduce help towards top. Just throwing it out there.
Also helps with getting the habit of a tight core.
aveoturbo I have not. Mostly bc I am a klutz - I can just see myself having a grip failure and hitting my head on the ground bc my legs are stuck in this thing so I can't just fall on my ass. But also bc my gym has handle things, not an actual bar, and I don't see a great way to attach band to those.
Weekly digest: hiatus still. Already have stress induced nose bleeds... cannot deal w scale atm 44.45 miles. Not bad w a snow/pajama day in there
