You can only work on so much at one time. It's good that you are aware of the issues, but don't get overwhelmed....chip away at it a bit at a time, focusing on what you CAN control and learning to manage and cope with what is BEYOND your control. Focus on the successes of each day and the big picture will ultimately come together. I remember my disgust when I hit that 200 lb mark...it's tough, but change is ALWAYS an option.

daejamurrachan and CODawn that sounds sadly right. I was talking to one of my cousins (she is abt 10 years older then me) and she started running into wall of random health shit in her 40s also...and she was fit/athletic her whole life so I can't even be all "woe is me this is the sins of my slothful 20s comming to bite me"

And thanks MissMolly at my height that number should be less scary, it is overweight but not obese but...it is a big scary number. Every time I get under it I say "never again".

I have a guest in this weekend so I will not try to diet just yet (bc wtf. I need to take him to get nyc bagles and tacos etc lol) but...may just go full on back to keto (or maybe keto + fruit) till I am sorted.

I was STILL sore from Jacked so, repeated it at home w my 8lb dumbbells while trying to frantically finish cleaning house.

And the old body falling apart does indeed SUCK ASS, and for me it all began in my late 20s! I'm staring 40 in the face, and I'm not looking forward to the physical changes that may come...trying my damnedest just to stay out of a wheelchair...I've made it almost 10 years since doctors told me I should have been paralyzed....just gotta keep fighting every day of our lives...after all, anything worth anything requires struggle to appreciate! And by all means, we gotta enjoy GOOD FOOD indulgences from time to time, because well, we are human!

I know doctors have to be honest but sometimes I feel like they set people up for failure. Good for you MissMolly for proving them wrong!

It really depends on the doctor, once in a while you can find someone who is the very definition of "A Doctor" -they are rare but they are out there.

Pre-counting walking today. My youngest brother (step, actually, but I will admit this one is family) is comming to visit bc he and my husband decided they needed to go to a mets game. He's getting in at 7am, going to drag him walking all over the city lol.

Also. Biopsy update. Dr called yesterday. It is indeed Basal Cell Carcinoma (he may have said it was a nasty one) so going ahead w scheduled excision in a few weeks.

Eeks for the excision, keep us updated. I will keep thinking of you (and some of the Punches against Cancer will be sent against those cells so that they all get out with the excision, non mais!)

                        Weekly update + new plan

                        41 miles!! Woo hoo

Food was...omg such glorious junk at ball game last night.

                        New Plan:
I am going back in keto (or maybe keto + fruit) starting this week. It's the only weight loss method that has worked for me w out making me batshit.

                        My exercise weeks will include-
1 down/rest/do not meet step goal day
2-3 days at gym lifting thing even if no set structure bc legs are a random element
1+ day where I get 10+ miles in

Yesterday was my "down" day. I did get the groceries home all in one carry (no resting on ground) whoch doesn't always happen...but that is more of a benefit of exercise than an exercise in it's own right.

Did meal prep for lunches for the week. Cooked a ton of chicken thighs (like, 5lbs). Cooked off chicken sausage. Made a mix w kale, butternut squash, mushrooms, garlic, sage, cumin and added a sausage and 2 thighs. (Made 4 of these, 750 cals ish, big lunches.) Sauteed some cauli rice in sesame oil and added thighs, broccoli, and soy sauce (3 portions of this, abt 550 cals, smaller lunches).. also made hubby some chicken/brown rice/broccoli/butter pkges for dinners when I work late. I am making myself nice things to eat w getting back to keto (-ish bc I will eat fruits) so I don't feel deprived. Had kale/bacon/parm frittata last night. Am doing my summer fave of zucchini and tomatoes cooked in butter w a small steak tonight. Bought some laughing cow garlic/herb cheese dip pots to eat w veggies, parmesan crisps, pistachios for snacking.

Today I walked 6 miles to get to trainer's gym and went to my bootcamp. Did a lot of abs and a little bit of everything else for 45 mins and had my bruised legs marveled at lol. I missed the gym ladies.

You guys are awesome! My food prep is making sure I am stocked up on soup and there is enough food in the frozen food file.

Lol Amirsh... and CODawn I'm only so good bc lunch in the neighborhood of my job is 15-30$. My dinners are much more hap-hazard and breakfast is often eggs that boil while I shower.
