Walking meditation actually sounds like it might work for me. I wasn't aware it existed, but like Mianevem I find that walking clears my head so I think I'll give it a shot.

It's been a while since I did a meditation session longer than 10 min, but I somehow enjoy the challenge of enduring stillness. But I second the usefulness of walking meditation which I've never done in a structured way but I would be much less focused if I didn't have my daily 2x30 min walk that puts my thoughts in order.

And when there's no way for me to go somewhere quiet, I just look for a guided meditation online -- maybe that could work for you too, Io6?

Io6 If you are not in an ostentatious yogic position you are not meditating well

I just got told Qigong counts as meditation Fremen and am feeling a bit silly about not twigging! Doing it for years but always assumed meditation involved stillness. This is why complaining is important

Maybe try Kin-hin or something similar, a walking meditation in motion is sometimes more congenial. The point is concentration, not whether you stand still in one position or move

Io6 I know what you mean, I like the yoga days of the program but the meditation is a challenge for me. I actually put off day 9 for almost a week because I didn't feel like trying to meditate for that long, so as far as tips go I'm probably not the best person to ask
One idea I have had is to break the 20 minutes up into a couple of sessions throughout the day. Almost definitely not how that session is meant to go, but it's better than nothing.

So, meditation for 20min. I've had a squizz at 30 more days but the meditation is putting me off. 5 mins works for me but for 10 I have to be feeling it.
    Any tips for 20?
