If it works for you, then it will work, yes.

All of the DAREBEE programs are designed to be done one program at a time, 30 (or 60 or 90) days in a row. The workouts are put together in a particular order, assuming that is how the programs will be followed. But the program designer is not your personal coach and does not know the ins and outs of your daily life. The single most important factor in determining whether or not you gain benefits from any workout program is whether or not you do the work. After that, everything else is pretty much gravy. So fitting the work into your personal schedule is important. If Ironborn Tuesday-Friday and Cardio Go Saturday-Monday is what works best for you, then go for it.

Thursday, 4 April 2019I am enjoying Ironborn -though I am a bit apprehensive about tomorrow's ab work! And i really like combining Ironborn with stretching/yoga workouts. I am using 5.6 pound dumbbells, because that is what i have.

I have been taking my walks in the evening these past few days, because it has been cooler than is normal for this time of year with evening temps in the upper 50s - lower 60s and a nice breeze. *Tonight, however, it was 90 degrees and sticky outside with no shade where i was, so while my daughter was in her community college class, i walked the halls of her building, and MapMyWalk measured neither the distance nor my steps accurately. So, i estimated based on my time and my average pace on previous walks. I aalso went up and down the stairs several times.

When you get to farmers carrys in iron born, find jugs of detergent or something heavier around your house, imho. Those are the exercise that would most benefit from heavier weights then rest of program. (Altho if you csn score some 10-15s for leg days it could be nice.)

Thanks 'rin; I think I have some 10s that my son had left around here somewhere.

Sunday, 7 April 2019My knees were feeling very tender after all of yesterday's march steps, so I skipped to a day in Cardio Go with step jacks as the primary exercise instead. Walk was short because of increasing lightning. Tonight is supposed to be cooler and drier, so I a may do an evening walk.
