          Yesterday, the small family farm from which we get duck eggs held an open house. We spent a perfect, cool, sunny autumn afternoon in the country amongst ducks, chickens, guinea fowl, turkeys, goats, and pigs: all pasture-raised and quite friendly. My daughter even got to milk a goat!

              Woohoo! What a lovely day that sounds.

              I recently got a nice stay in the countryside and had to look after some ducks - they're nice to have around but not terribly clever or cooperative when it comes time to put them back in their house for the night!

                      Have you ever tried Split Squats like in the Knee workout? Not sure why they are called squats, they are actually stationary lunges. Or Reversed Lunges? Both are easier on the knees, especially the former.

                          twinkletoes, thanks for tip! I usually do reverse lunges when a workout calls for lunges, but my knee was even balking at those the other day.

                            Throughout the day
                            ▪A lot of walking around the house: cooking, cleaning, setting up tables & chairs

                            Late night
                            ▪Some much needed stretching of feet, ankles, legs, and back. (no specific workout, just whatever my weary brain could think of that felt good to my weary bod)

                            I had a wonderful, long, chaotic, delicious, fun, exhausting Thanksgiving Day!
