Oh, wow, Mamatigerj! I am finally getting a chance to catch up on your thread and just now learned about the crisis your family came through in July, your happy August news, and all the amazing work you have done over the past few weeks!

I am so thankful your family all came through the crisis safely and you have been wise to continue to take care of yourself through everything that has gone on and are finding ways to continue to take care of yourself and pursue your own fitness goals as you adapt to your new normal.

Huge congratulations on your 70 day fitness streak and on completing 50+ Daily Dares, Totals, the Balance Challenge, and your second time through Foundation Light! Congrats too on the new addition to your family! You are rocking it, Mamatigerj! You are an inspiration!

      Joomju & Cabriel,

Rainbow Dragon, it is kind of you to take the time to write such an encouraging post here on my thread; thank you!

          ▪3.11 mile walk

▪Athena's Playbook: day 4 ~sort of...i was not able to do the side elbow plank hold at all, so i did the other 3 plank holds for a second time instead. Also, i was unable to maintain the plank throughout the sequence, but had to take a couple of short rests.

          ▪Upperbody Challenge: day 4

Don't worry, Mama T! You'll be able to do it soon. Keep it up!

Side elbow planks were invented by a bad person to cause bad things for good people.

I STILL fucking hate side planks. I slide. I sometimes do plank rotations instead so I am getting SOME time in intended position.

                    ▪1.37 mile walk
Knowing that i had less than 30 minutes this morning, i decided to ignore my own mental block about short walks and just headed out the door; something is better than nothing!
                    Take that, perfectionism!

▪Athena's Playbook: day 5; level III
step jacks & march jacks subbed for jumping jacks

                    ▪Upperbody Challenge: day 5

I will try that next time, 'rin; thanks!

                        ▪5.03 mile walk

                        ▪Upperbody Challenge: days 6 & 7

                        ▪Athena's Playbook: day 6

We are leaving today to go to a Homeschool Family Camp for the next 3 days. We will be in a beautiful canyon along the Frio River with no internet or cell service. I will be taking a break from my program and challenge, but i will be doing a lot of walking and hiking as well as swimming in the river. I also downloaded some individual DB workouts, mostly stretching and yoga, which i may do.

We weren't sure if we would be able to go this year, because of my daughter's treatment program. She did the necessary hard work, though, to move up to level 2, which meant she was able to get a 3-day pass!

One of our other daughter's (we have 5) and her husband will also be there with our 2 grandsons, who are 2.75 years and 2.75 months old. We are really looking forward to it!

And, i will be using this retreat to kick off my 30×30 Challenge, @Rainbow Dragon!

                        See you all on Sunday!

Rainbow Dragon, for some reason i cannot get my previous post to link to you. I wanted to let you know that i will begin my Nature Challenge tomorrow.

Awesome, Mamatigerj! So glad it worked out for you to all go on this retreat together!
I'm in for another round of the 30x30 Challenge. (I won't be able to post as many photographs as in August. But I will be getting outside in nature every day.) Autumn is my favourite time of the year to be outside and to enjoy nature.

Autumn is my favourite as well.

Have a wonderful trip, that sounds like a great way to start the challenge!
