A PLAN FOR JUNE AND JULYincluding my very wordy thoughts
June has some personal milestones, specifically my DareBee anniversary near the beginning of the month and my birthday at the end. Also, my daughter, whose daughter i watch while she is at work, will be transitioning to a work-mostly-from-home job next week. We are not sure exactly how that will affect my schedule yet.
MORNING ROUTINE >Five Tibetan Rites: I am adding this to my morning routine. I read up a bit and watched a few videos, because i knew i would need to modify at least the second and fourth. I am starting with 3 repetitions and will be increasing that by 2 each week, so i should be at 21 repetitions on 1 August. This is definitely a work in progress.
>Walk
>Meditation/Deep Breathing and Hug
DAILY WORKOUT ROUTINE >DareBee Workouts Personal Challenge: (Monday - Friday) I am moving on to difficulty 2/easy workouts. A part of me really wanted to get another badge, but i just couldn't settle on a program. I think going through the workouts in the database is good for me, though, because of the variety. More than once I have heard Damer say to keep our bodies guessing (or words to that effect). When i did the light difficulty workouts i mostly grouped them by type. I won't do that this time but rather will just work my way through them (backwards, so as not to miss new ones). I will modify when necessary; some of the floor abs workouts i might not be able to do even with mods, so they may get set aside. There is no deadline on this challenge. >Workout Challenges: (Monday - Friday) Continue Daily (wall) Push-ups Challenge (9 more days) then Squats & Punches Challenge (I did Punches & Squats earlier; this is a different one.) >Saturday Dumbbell Days: I want to do some dumbbell workouts. Using the workout filter, i will begin with difficulty 2 then move on to difficulty 3. >Sunday Fun Days: Do something different or something just for fun (or catch up on anything missed during the previous week). >The Daily Dare/Exercise of the Day when i can
EVENING ROUTINE >Balance/Wobble Board: I want to get back to this, just a few minutes in the evening. >The Pool: Our neighbourhood pool is now open for the summer. I like to go in the evening after the sun is down (or at least low) and the crowds are gone. I am not a great swimmer, but i love to spend 45-60 minutes just treading water. >Restorative Yoga: I have enjoyed having a relaxing yoga practice in the evenings. This is a 30-day series from Yoga with Bird; however, i will not likely do it on the nights i go to the pool, so it will be more spread out.
>Meditation/Deep Breathing and Hug
CONTINUING SELF-CARE
>Meditation/Deep Breathing and Hug
>Daily Victory
>Daily Gratitude
>Bed on Time: I have 8 days left on the 30-day challenge, but i will keep on with this. Also, i am going to try moving my bedtime 30 minutes earlier.
>Salad A Day: I want to add this once the Bed on Time 30 days are completed.
All of this is subject to change. I love to plan, but i am notorious for rearranging the furniture!
