Im feeling lazy so just copy and past from Fitbit app. Ran Thurs and Friday...My distance is still suffering in this hotter weather. Above just shows total walked/ran. I left my soul on the road somewhere friday morning after my 6+ mile trek...i came home and pretty much laid in bed the rest of the day. Undoubtedly i over did it. I felt like shit the rest of the day...Fun Fact! I also got bit by my neighbors GS dog. I take part responsibility as I saw him coming over to me and I knew he had a tendency to bite, but I kept running. I should've stopped, but I don't like to stop once I get going. I do not believe his intent was to be aggressive. He didn't break the skin, but he gave me some gross bruises right on the backside of my right arm, right above my elbow. Turd. He decided he would run with me for a few moments before going back home. Why they left him outside alone is beyond me, as they were the ones that told me he had a tendency to bite just a week or so before. I saw them go in and leave him out as I was nearing their house and was thinking 'ah shit.'. I was free game lol. If he was acting out of aggression he would've/could've done a lot more damage, as it was, he just kinda nipped me. Still hurt like a Mutha though

May 23 I did Arms of Steel day 18, walked my dogs, and did the watering task for the evening

    77 cons days

Yes they are DorothyMH ! Only thing I can figure is there really isnt a lot of foot traffic out where I live...but still...they have had one or 2 dogs get hit by a car. They were supposed to get one of our puppies(per my husband because he just wanted them gone) but no. They did not get my puppy, we told them he was promised to someone else, which he was, kind of...but that didnt work out and we took him back( he kept him chained up outside...nope) we ended up keeping the ham head and he is the bestest, sweetest baby.

Ooooh, chaining doggos up outside unattended is now illegal in our state, as proclaimed by our governor several years ago. Bad practice. I don’t blame you for keeping the pup yourself. He has a way better life with you!

DorothyMH it really pisses me off when I see a dog that is living his life on a chain...I wish they would make it a law here(maybe it is, i should look into that)...but hell, no one would enforce it out where I live

If it’s a law there, then you could call the cops on the assholes that do it! We have a specially designated animal control police officer here that rounds up loose dogs and enforces the chain thing.

DorothyMH In our small town it is hard to get the cops or animal control(especially animal control) involved in anything, unfortunately. It's really sad.

I am in a rural area too. Sometimes I absolutely hate it. Other times, like with Covid, I am so grateful we didn’t move, cuz even tho it’s ridiculously conservative here, there are FEWER people over all, so the stupidity factor is proportionately lower😜

Yikes, so sorry the dog bit you, that's horrible! I live in the city, here the dog would likely be put down after an event like that.

I'm also sorry that you overdid it on Friday, I hope you are rested now.

                      5/24 - 27 Active minutes

Arms Of Steel - Day 19: Done while walking. Walked pooches, did a short run(HOT)(I MISS MY TREADMILL!) and watered my front yard.

With this heat my feet and ankles are swelling pretty bad(looks gross bleh). My left is way worse than my right...anyone have any tips for that? I am hoping I just need to up my water intake

Increase your electrolyte intake in the heat: I use Liquid IV drink mix: 1 teaspoon in12 oz water, down the hatch before and after a sweaty session in the heat. Then elevate your feet after your session!

                          5/25 - 32 Active Minutes

I have to get back to a better routine...
                          Walked the dogs, watered lawn.

I wanted to run, but I have a small window for that if I want to go my reg route and I missed the timing talking about the extended holiday weekend

Thanks DorothyMH, my feet/ankles are swelling in general, whether I'm active or not. But I will definitely keep that in mind for my runs and hopefully that will help me from feeling so terrible in this heat!

Your neighbors sound like assholes. We stopped walking in this cul-de-sac because this idiot just let his dog run and chase us while barking. Scott also carries pepper spray.

Looong weekend of riding(MC)...I am still recovering. Came back to lots of work to catch up on ugh

We basically did a loop of sorts. Started Thurs night(UGH). From home we rode through Ky up through West VA, VA, did the Back of the Dragon Tazwell/Marion VA (32 miles 438 curves, do not recommend doing in the rain/fog!) then to Lexington, NC. stayed there a couple of days(spent some time on a pontoon and bowling!) then off to Cherokee NC, stayed at the Harrah's Casino there, (also do not recommend, but our buddy is a regular at the casinos so he gets lots of Comps). Rode through TN and back into KY last night around 9pm. I got some walking in, but spent most of the time on the back of the bike...which is a workout itself...abs are sore, back is sore, thighs are sore, ASS is SORE lol.

More details to come and I will try and post a few pics for those that are interested.
