“then I fell off the wagon and it road away without me...after it ran me over!”

This cracked me up so bad!!
My allergies are killing me this week!!! Not taking prednisone cuz of the covid vacs so I’ve had to switch to CBD/CBG combo for anti inflammatory benefit. And staying inside. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh.

I feel that! LOL I'm not saying I can go straight back where I left off, but starting over, while frustrating, is easier now than when I first started. I am usually surprised when not running for months I can get back out there and it doesn't take me long to work back to running a mile...and so on. I'll Be rooting for ya! Do you use a running app to keep track?

Awe DorothyMH it sucks your allergies are so bad! I am very lucky, especially were I live in the Ohio Valley, that I have never had much issues with allergies. Mild symptoms is all I have. Does the CBD/CBG help? I have considered taking for my arthritis...but i really don't know if I can given were I work, I'm afraid to ask LOL

It does work. And because it’s not psychoactive, and has only trace amounts of THC in it, it’s not picked up by drug testing🥳. It is really helpful for arthritis.

Trbrat75 I am old school (or just old lol). I have been using paper running logs since I started. Little notebooks where I write my stats, and keep track of my cumulative shoe miles...plus a rating and comments. Plus, my watch account holds stats too. Thanks! I am rooting for you too!

LOL CODawn - for me, the app helps for my 'distance run' I just started using Runkeeper which updates me every 5 mins...so when I get tired i just say '5 more minutes, that's all' LOL. Sometimes I keep notes on paper as a quick guide to see my progression.

4/15 - HIIT: Total work out time 63 mins

Hot Sauce: Lvl I, 1 min rest
2000's HIIT Dance: Loved it -
                was tired by the end
Sprints: 7 sets of 15/30(I either did 6 or 7 sets, I can't remember now)
Walking to warm up and cool down

                4/16 - Strength: Total time 59 mins

Sculptor +: Push ups done on knees, weights 15 lb reps- 12, 14, 50 - i guess I will keep upping this until i can even it out better
                No cellulite
Walking to warm up and cool down

4/17 - Active Rest: Total time - Unknown

Worked in my garden, building a new flower bed. Moved stuff around, pulled weeds, put down plastic barrier for weed control, started putting in dirt which meant man handling 6 40 lb bags of top soil. walked my doggos

4/18 - Combat: total time 41 mins - (give or take)

                Worked outside some more

Raid: Lvl I, 1 min rest - I like the combos, but I am wondering if I am doing the moves right. I think where I have been working out might be hindering my turning kicks because I cant turn/adjust my standing foot while kicking, so I think I may be twisting my knee to much. It's hard to adjust my footing on carpet or decking...my son watched me for a bit and critiqued my kicks ( evidently I was not kicking high enough for his standards lol) so I showed him how high I can kick, as long as its just once or twice and not over and over and was pleasantly surprised that I can still reach his upper chest/chin area for front, side, turning and round house kicks lol. Walked doggos before to warm up, stretched after to cool down

                  4/19: Rest

My day got highjacked. It was supposed to be my speed run day, which I have missed 2 or 3 weeks now. But I had to go to the grocery, which took longer than it should have(i was ping ponging all over the place trying to remember little things I needed.) Then I was going home and find out I need to make a trip to Lowes to get some more deck sealant, TONIGHT...are you fucking kidding me?!?!?! So go home to drop off groceries and pick up kid and off to Lowes, which is 30 or so mins away from where I live(most things are). So by the time I got back home it was quarter after 7 and I still needed to cook dinner....nah...fend for yourselves. So i took the dogs for a quick walk to get some sort of activity in, at least it was technically a rest day anyway.

I am having a terrible time staying awake. I keep nodding off at my desk, long blinks in the car. I don't know what is causing this to happen. I had a problem with it before, and then for some reason I got a lot better about it and didn't feel so drained, but it's happening again. I can't help but wonder if me exercising is the cause...I thought it was supposed to give me energy, but I am just so drained. I rarely sleep good at night, so nothing has changed there, my diet isn't perfect, but it's not terrible...I don't understand and I don't like it.

Apologies for giggling, but i can just see it lol. I generally am leaning forward with my head propped up on my hand, but if i do a good nodding off and that hand starts to fall....bwahaha, lets just say it's quite embarrassing. I have had a co-worker mess with me while I was "resting me eyes" she scared the crap outta me because she was standing right on the other side of my desk just staring at me over my monitor....waiting . Now I can't help but wonder, my main problem is my eyes burn so bad and they are so dry i just want to close them to get relief...the reason could be allergies. But falling asleep while I am trying to get some relief? What's that about?! OOF

                            4/20: Combat - Total time 28 mins

Ninja Speed: Lvl I 1 min rest - Push ups done on knees. I picked this one because I have a hard time with mountain climbers(I used to love doing these when I was younger, not so much now), and it has quite a few. It got harder as I progressed because of the push-ups to mountain climbers. If I tried to do the climbers slow, that meant longer holding my self up. I should've done 2 more sets with longer rest time, but I didnt...maybe next time i wont wait so long to work out. Maybe I should try the plank challenge(again) to help work on strength
                            Walked doggos before and after

Counting calories is going well. I lost 4 lbs last week and I don't feel starved. I am trying to eat smarter and in moderation. Moderation is the hard part for me. I am also not going crazy on the calorie counting as there are so many variables. This is why I stopped doing it in the past, it can be so time consuming and infuriating.

P.S. - We got 2 inches of snow last night...

Well done with the weight loss. Sounds like it's come from good choices; I have a really hard time eating well, myself. Do keep us posted on the crossfit class!
