          Monday 7/16: C210K

I started the Couch to 10K program today. Since I had finished C25K I was able to start at week 9

Week 9 Day 1: 5 min warm up, alternate 10 mins running, 1 min recovery 4 times, 5 min cool down

          1) 5.0 done on grade 2 for about 5 mins
          2) 4.3, flat
          3) 4.5, flat
          4) 4.2 until last 2 minutes then upped it to 5.2

Will probably start Spartan training this week after I finish up Back and Core.

                    Hi Trbrat!

Congratulations on completing the C25K program and 30 Days of Change!
What have you been up to since? How's the running going? (I am finally starting to get back into running myself.)

                    I hope you are well!

                        I'm back

Thanks Rainbow Dragon ...yeah C210K didn't last. I went on vaca in back in July, I know I ran a bit then, but I have had some personal issues going on that threw me off track and it has taken me some time to try and get back on.

Right now I can run about 2 miles, on a good day.

I did the Rugged Maniac last Sept and my goal was to make it up the wall, and I succeeded! Made it on my 2nd attempt thanks to some help from the guys up top . Right now I am working on losing weight by running and strength training, but it's been an off and on thing for a couple months now. I need to figure out a good balance between the 2. Last week I ran Mon, Tues and Weds Thurs I did hill intervals and Friday I did a bit of running but only a mile before switching to walking inclines. Took Sat as a rest day and then weight lifted on Sunday. Hoping I can get back into a routine again!

AWE Thank you! How is your writing going? Were you able to get a place of your own? I am way behind on threads

                            Glad you are back!

I did not get a place of my own. I decided to take another stab at making things work where I'm at for the time being. Unfortunately, this has not been great for my writing. I have gotten some work done but have not finished any more projects since last winter. Which is a problem. But I'm working on it.

Ive been busting my butt all week workout wise, but I'm super exhausted thanks to my animals keeping me up a lot at night here lately. I have worked out 8 days in a row I know. I took Sat the 23rd off apparently, but worked out the 5 days before that...according to Fitbit anyways lol. I will try and be more consistent with my logging moving forward. I have been doing mostly cardio(treadmill - running or doing inclines mostly, I alternate) with some weight training added in. I do weights and or yoga on the weekend instead of cardio, although my heart rate is elevated as if I am doing cardio(especially on leg day as I do high knee toe taps and jumping squats). I am working my way back to running 5K. So far my longest run has been 2.5 miles, but have struggled a bit since then with tightness in my left leg from the knee down that starts when I start running, i don't want to push too hard and risk an injury so I've just been running a mile or so and walking more inclines. Ive been spending about an average of 45 min to an hour working out. Generally not quite as long on the weekends. (I realize Ive only been doing this regularly for a couple weeks, but I am hoping to build a habit. Thank to my friends I now have access to the gym and they help keep me accountable during the week. I have myself to rely on on the weekends which proves to be challenging lol.
