Weds 6/20 - 30 Days of Change; Back and Core

    https://www.darebee.com/programs/bac...all=&start=12:
    Those hollow holds...
https://darebee.com/programs/30-days...wall=&start=16 LVL II: felt the burn, especially after yesterdays leg day and the squat holds

Walked with my pups for a bit, went out and picked a few wildflowers for my mother in law. Told her since she couldn't get out much and enjoy nature that I would bring it to her.

Thurs 6/21 - Back and Core; 30 Days of Change:

https://www.darebee.com/programs/bac...all=&start=13: Seriously...Reclining hero...theres no way I can do that with my legs under me that way. When I was a teenager, sure. Now, if I bend my legs off to the sides instead of directly underneath me I can lay all the way back. Maybe someday I will be able to do this pose

https://darebee.com/programs/30-days...wall=&start=17 LVL II: I can tell I am getting stronger, as I am able to do the push-ups. I still cant go all the way down, only about halfway. But I challenge myself to go as low as possible each time and I am feeling it in my arms today.

Went to take my dogs out for a stroll, but there was a Copperhead snake on our road which the dogs were enamored with so I franticly tried to get them away before it bit one of them. (as you can see, he was poised to strike, although he only made a half assed effort to) After what seemed like an eternity he slowly slithered off into the grassy tree line and I got the dogs safely back inside.

I know just what you mean! I'm working on bakasana/crow pose right now and it's just...

I follow Inflexible Yogis on Instagram, and they have some great regressions. You can use pillows or couch cushions to support your torso and head during reclining hero. I actually stretch briefly before yoga (hip flexors and glute activation) which seems ridiculous, but it works.

Thanks BlondeJaneBlonde , I'll have to check that out! Crow pose is tough! I managed to do it for a few milliseconds lol

Friday - Monday: Back and Core & 30 Days of Change-

            https://darebee.com/programs/back-and-core.html:
Days 14 - 20 - Done over the course of the weekend

https://darebee.com/programs/30-days-of-change.html LVL II: Days 18 - 21 - On day 18 for the 30 minute run I did intervals. I downloaded a freebee from SISSFIT for improving run times and endurance, so I tried that out. I liked it, very challenging.

Sunday i did some walking/jogging up and down my street...I swear running never seems to get any easier with me.

On the upside, my weight is finally going down...I have been having trouble with losing weight...I gained a little then stayed about the same for what seems like forever...so now that the scale is moving the right way it will boost my willpower that much more.

Signed my kids and I up for a 5k Bubble Run, will be my sons first 5k - hes 12 and lazy lol. So hopefully this will help motivate him to get off his ass

              Tues 6/26: 30 Days of Change -

              https://darebee.com/programs/30-days...wall=&start=22 lvl II:
40 min run i was seriously worried if I can do it. But I did it!. First time in I guess about 6-7 mos or longer that I ran 5k. It was 5k in 37:51. Fastest mile was 10:46. I'll take it!! It was a struggle, luckily it was nice enough to run outside. My son decided he wanted to go with me...yeah not even 3 minutes into running he was cramping and stopped lol. But I continued. Had it not been for going down that big hill I may not have been able to accomplish it, but that gave me plenty of recovery time and the bottom is fairly flat(unlike the rest of my road, which is pretty hilly) there was a little snag, I turned just a little to soon to go back. I had hoped that I would have time to finish my run and have some recovery walking time before reaching that hill to make the climb back up...nope. I had to start that hill running, as I had a few seconds left on my run time man, talk about a tough climb. I was dead and so happy when I reached the top. I went to our friends house that was a lot closer than mine to take a break lol. It gave me a chance to see the puppies they got from us , and that's where my son went when he couldn't keep up with me lol. So my first trek was over an hour total, then I had to walk back home, which is about 3 more miles from where I was uggghhhh. I got in over a mile, and had started running again when my daughters friend pulled up behind me and saved me lol, she drove me the rest of the way. So no time for back and core today as you might imagine. I was to whooped anyway

https://www.runtastic.com/en/users/a...b-1d533e5e6723 - there's runtastic link if anyone is interested. If you look at the elevation, it gives you a vague idea on how steep that hill is, and its about a quarter mile or so distance. I started the app when I started running, I did over 5 miles total according to fitbit...well over 6 miles if I count the start back home

                  https://darebee.com/programs/30-days...=&start=23 lvl II: Oh my!
3 - 2 min wall sits and 3 - 2 min planks! Well I can do the wall sits throughout the day at work, but not the planks so I fell 1 set shy of the planks. I suppose I can try and work it in today. I was pretty sore from the days before run so the jumping jacks and knee to elbows were fun...not lol. Took a walk with my pups in the evening.

No time for Back and Core again, mostly due to my mother in law wanting to catch up on our shows we watch together and I haven't had time lately to watch them with her.

Thanks BlondeJaneBlonde! I was pretty pleased to pull it off again

                            Thurs 6/29 - 30 Days of Change:

                            https://darebee.com/programs/30-days...wall=&start=24 Lvl II:
Whew! Jump squats are no joke! As for the run, I did 5 min walk warm up, 12 minutes @4.8 and 3 min recovery before sprints. for the sprints I started at 7, that wasn't challenging enough, so next go I upped it to 8, then upped it to 8.5. I was afraid to try 9 as last time my treadmill shut down on me when I went that high.( I think its on its last leg) on my last sprint I did 30 seconds @ 8.5 trying to push my limits. Took a break before doing part II, then grabbed my son to do it with me. It was comical watching him doing the jump squats. Momma had to give him some pointers lol.

Because of this program getting more challenging, not enough gas in the tank to do Back and Core, hopefully can double up on some workouts this weekend.
