Thurs 7/6 - I took Weds off, so no workouts to report for 7/5

At work - 100 Alternating front kicks/30 side to side lunges/30 squats

    At home -

https://darebee.com/programs/athenas...wall=&start=27 - Upper Body - lvl II - Easy Peasy! Although I am a little sore from it this morning, mainly in my shoulders

https://darebee.com/programs/athenas...wall=&start=28 - Lower Body - lvl II - Not a bad lil leg workout, but the further I got into it the more the back of my thigh(s) would cramp

Only 3 Days left for me to get AP Completed!, Just a bit behind schedule. Once I have completed it I think I will just put my focus back on AoP and Revolution, then maybe start Cardio Trim Run in August.

Rainbow Dragon I have a lot of work to do with stretching and balance. I can only keep my leg about 2 feet up off the ground, and its bent lol. That is without holding it. I don't have the strength or agility to hold it up any higher. So much work to be done! Sigh...

    Thank you twinkletoes!

      Weekend 7/7 -7/9

      At Work -

      https://darebee.com/challenges/office-challenge.html - 20 sec wall sit, 20 sec dip hold, https://darebee.com/challenges/cardi...challenge.html - 60 JJ

      At Home -

https://darebee.com/programs/athenas...wall=&start=26 - Friday - Abs - Plank holds LVL II - I really, really struggled with the plank side leg raises, I could barely lift my leg!

https://darebee.com/programs/athenas...wall=&start=29 - Sunday - Cardio - LVL I - I had just got back from running, so I didn't quite have it in me to do lvl II, my jacks were getting very sloppy towards the end! ( may have had something to do with the uneven ground I was attempting them on too lol.

Nothing done on Saturday as we spent most of the day out on the motorcycle and that tends to zap my energy, also we had a family movie night.

Sunday Challenged my last run, and went a little further and still beat my last time as seen here(I hope anyways lol) 3.1 miles in 42:54 mins. I am a little disappointed it wasn't a better time because I ran a lot more intervals than last time, but I had a slower start as I was trying to get my music, arm band and stuff situated as I was warming up.

Also Lifted Weights Sunday evening, did 2 sets of Alternating Bicep curls to failure, (I can't remember how many I did, I think 25/15) the fact that I had put lotion on before hand hindered my performance...

        Monday 7/10

https://darebee.com/programs/athenas...wall=&start=30 - Combat lvl II - This one was fun, but man my balance is awful and my lunges can barely be considered a lunge, my knees don't like them

Revolution Day 7 - Stability Practice - One thing I am not is stable...here's to hoping this improves!

Balance is a long journey, for sure.

            Tues 7/11

            At Work:

https://darebee.com/challenges/office-challenge.html - Day 3 and 4 - 40 sec TDH and 40 sec Wall Sit - the wall sit is starting to get uncomfortable

            https://darebee.com/challenges/cardi...challenge.html - Day 2 - 60 High Knees

            At Home:
Revolution Day 8 - Serenity Practice - Ahhhhh.....this was nice...but I have peeked ahead to tomorrows practice and now I am worried lol.

https://darebee.com/programs/age-of-pandora.html - Chapter 23 lvl II - Finally have made my way back to AOP

Walked .26 miles with my husband...I had hoped to go farther, but we had taken one of our lil pups with us(he wanted out too, and who says no to that?)and he slowed us down. I took the pup back in and asked hubs if he was done, or he wanted to walk more...he was done...sigh. Watching the pup run and play was pretty adorable though, and he did walk with us some(he is only 6 weeks old as of today)

I considered starting Combat HIIT, but decided my plate is pretty full already with yoga, running, AOP, and weight lifting..oh and work...can't forget that, as much as I might like to....

              Weds 7/12

              At Work -

              https://darebee.com/challenges/office-challenge.html - Day 6 and 7 - 60 sec TDH and Wall Sit - Eh, still manageable

https://darebee.com/challenges/cardi...challenge.html - Day 3 100 JJ - 22/52/26 - I was in short heeled dress boots, so I was surprised I was able to do as many at once as I did. Also, it's terribly awkward when you are doing jumping jacks in the bathroom(in a skirt, no less) and someone walks in...oops

              https://darebee.com/programs/age-of-pandora.html - 50 High Knees - for traveling

              At home:

Nothing done at home, my hubby decided the middle of the week would be a good time to rent 2 movies , so I came home, vegged a few minutes, cooked dinner, ate, vegged a couple more minutes contemplating going and working out-or where I could go to work out as my hubs wasn't feeling well and was laying down in our room where I do most of my w/o, about that time he emerged and ate as I helped clean up the dinner dishes and then it was movie time. I was hoping there would be time after movies for me to get a work out in, but no, it was after 11...sigh

Props for doing jumping jacks in work clothes in a public toilet! You rock for finding ways to get so much done around 2 jobs plus the constraints of your home life!

I try to do the best I can, sometimes I still feel I am not doing enough

I have worked hard to allow "the best I can" to be "enough". Not enough for forever--I still strive for improvement--but enough for today. It's a battle for those of us with perfectionistic tendencies. But there is no benefit in beating ourselves up for failing to accomplish the impossible.

Just wanted to say that I find your words poignant and so articulate...(as I sit here and wonder if I used that correctly lol) I have noticed this in a lot of what I have read of yours. I feel like most times I am just one big run-on sentence!

I do beat my self up a bit, but for the most part I move on. I have got no time for dwelling on things I can not change.

Thank you Trbrat75. That is kind of you to say.

I am working currently on trying to turn writing into my career but feeling lately that I keep stalling out. It is good to be reminded that the skill is there. I just need to keep pressing on with it.

Rainbow Dragon yes, you undoubtedly have the skill in my opinion. I look forward to reading more of your writings

Thurs - 7-13 I have had such a busy weekend I only know what I wrote down for work on Thurs, and I remember running on Friday...whew

                            At Work:

                            https://darebee.com/challenges/office-challenge.html - 1:20 Wall Sit and 1:20 TDH

                            https://darebee.com/challenges/cardi...challenge.html - 80 High Knees

https://darebee.com/programs/age-of-pandora.html - 50/40 High Knees for traveling lvl II

I do not recollect Thurs night at all, so I am sure I didn't work out, definitely none of my programs...where did that day go??

                            Friday - 7/14

Not the best day, took off work to go pay my respects to my Aunt(by marriage) who had passed away suddenly of a massive heart attack. I hadn't seen her in many years because her and my uncle got divorced, but she was still my Aunt in my heart. The visitation was terribly awkward as I am not on the best terms with most members of my family(as in we don't speak, and I am looked down upon because I finally stood up for myself and my husband to my mom...it's a long story). But I was not going to let them stop me from paying my respects for someone I loved, even though it was painful how they gave me sideways glances like I didn't belong...or maybe it was more directed at my husband who came to support me and to show his respect for my cousins who had just lost their mom...idk it doesn't matter. We then rode over to the cemetery where his(my husband)grandparents have a vault, and walked around all the daggon vaults and never could find theirs I would've gone back over to the funeral home to get us a map but he wouldn't let me, wary of the fact I might run in to a family member who might say something...I would've done it anyway, but he insisted I not. We went home and I waited for my friend to come pick up one of my pups to take home...that was a sad moment too as I have grown attached to them all, but at least I know where this one is and I am sure I will see her again.

After supper I went on a late run as shown
here 4.20 miles in 1:03:57...I did not challenge my last run as I had a feeling I was going to do something different. I went down Hell Hill...I was trying to run a full 2 miles and I knew I couldn't do it without going down that damned hill...and I still fell just shy of my goal as it was getting late and I turned back a little to early which had me running up this damned steep hill. I made it a little ways but fell just about a tenth of a mile shy of completing a 2 mile run....sigh...this hill is no joke. Its about a 1/4 mile or so(I really need to figure that out) and very steep. Walking back up takes everything in me just to keep moving and not giving in to calling in reinforcements to come get me lol. I made it though, but it was getting dark at this point and I was 2+ miles away from home. I called and checked in when I got to the top of the hill and continued my journey. I recovered from the hill and then proceeded with run/walk intervals....I nearly jumped out of my skin when I turned to look at my neighbors house while running and turned back to see this shadowy figure in front of me...it was my own shadowy figure that I saw...I had a good chuckle out of that and called my husband to tell him what a dumbass I was and he scolded me for being out so late running alone. I told him where I was and told him I would be home soon. Running that late just made me push my limits a little more because I was starting to get creeped out by noises I was hearing(I live in the country). Got home, drank some water, did some stretches and went to bed!

The rest of my weekend was pretty amazing, spent Sat 7/15 at a friends house for a coming home party(their son came home from the Army)spent the day swimming in the creek, hiking through the creek beds, playing corn hole, getting my drink on , and playing cards and such...a good time was had by all. A pretty active day for me!

Sunday 7/16 - First time ever experiencing the effects of a hangover... Still, we had plans, so I ate me lots of toast (Soooo hungry omg!) Got cleaned up and ready for the days activities which was an all day motorcycle ride, stopping at various places for drinks on our way to the restaurant we were heading to. I kept my drinks unleaded lol. I had to eat again before we got to the restaurant because I was starting to get shaky( I was insatiably hungry. It was a nice ride, we went to Quaker Steak and Lube a quirky and cool restaurant with motorcycles and cars and such hanging from the ceiling. Very neat experience, and overall a great weekend!

I am going to try and post a few pics, I hope everyone had a good weekend!
