      since we had a Half Marathon to run the next day.
      Free pair of running socks are coming my way, it seems

      ~ second half marathon for the year. Even though it was a virtual one, but its all good.
      Could definitely feel an improvement in how my body handled the distance, as opposed to the one we did earlier this year.

      ~ active recovery, from all the running this passed weekend.
      Hammies are bit on the sore side, and just general tiredness, so just opted for level I of Boxer Abs.
      Early night, again tonight, since we have another virtual running event tomorrow.

          ~ Damn, and here I thought the running events over the weekend were cold.

          My legs were still quite stiff and sore, but managed to get them moving good with the run.
          And an extra bonus of leg day, afterwards!!
          Fortunately it's a public holiday, here today, so it's not like I have to walk anywhere
          !

                    ~ woke up feeling on the tired side, and body riddled with DOMS.
                    Boxing Drills provided just about the necessary challenge, that I could muster today
                    DOMS are
                    especially prominent in the abdominal region, I noticed as I was working through Abs Challenge..
                    Looks like laughing is gonna be pain, for the next few days! ...ow.

                      ~ After a day and a half's rest, over the weekend, we're right back into the thick of things.
                      Kicking off with Boxer Prime. It's been a program that's been in my sights for a while, but just never felt like the right time.
                      Guess now's a good a time as any.
                      No surprise, Day 1 was hard

                          I'm looking at Boxer Prime for July. That or redoing IronBorn with a sandbag + 3x20 running (have to watch that foot injury). I'll watch this and your take with interest.

                            ~ too late out of bed this morning, so ended up having to rush Boxer Prime today.
                            It caused me to question my life choices after the first set.
                            I'm gonna have to manage my time better with this program, since it seems that it's gonna require a minimum of an hour to do at level III.
                            Side note Fremen ; Hindu squats came in handy with today though.​​​​​​​
