"Arepas" - I really love them. This time with toppings, instead of a filling.

                      Hehe, you made them tiny!

A word of caution, though: not filling the arepa is considered to be the peak of lazyness, and on a very demeaning way. Translating the words of a group of Mexicans whom were sightseeing on Caracas: "be careful with the Venezuelan pride."

I forgive you, though, because where my family comes from, it isn't mandatory to fill the arepa, but we don't put it on the top either. We call it eating "moja'o" (wet), and it's pretty much having the filling on the side, breaking the arepa apart and dipping the pieces into the filling, grabbing it with the fingers.

We buy and use PAN cornmeal but our arepas never look like that! I was trying to find a fruitcake/tart recipe today that I'm sure I've seen on the company YouTube channel but couldn't track it down. It's very versatile stuff though Librarian (and I hope Solveig might confirm) if you want to try other things.

I'm not really up to speed with Polar's Youtube channel, but several women (mainly Venezuelans in other countries) have shared all kinds of recipes using PAN, including but not limited to desserts. I believe all of them are in Spanish, though.
