      I didn't find anything specific but I have heard people talk about it here and there. I also wanted to build cold resistance some years ago - that didn't go too well, I went too fast and too cold. It has to be gradual.

        Thanks for the video. I have done a month-ish of cold showers a few times in the past. However this time, I am going to be working to make it into a habit. The two biggest things I was hoping to get from the article is time relative to working out (currently I do my workout, shower, and cook breakfast before work) and second I have heard from a few resources that taking a cold shower before or after eating messes with the body. This due to the way your body pumps blood while digesting food being different than the way it does it for cold showers. Basically, your body gets confused about where to send the blood to. Here is a video from a Wim Hof instructor talking about it.

            Thanks the both of you for your videos. There are indeed a lot of benefits of cold showers like: reduced stress level, boosting the immun system, increased willpower, helping with weight loss, etc. But there are also benefits of hot showers, though. I personally love both.
            When to do one of them or both, well, that depends a lot on which news you are reading and on your body itself. Mostly a cold on in the morning to begin the day helps you to wake up and brace onself, some to it in the evening, though, because there body likes it better that way. Other are either doing a small warm-up or breathing exercise before going into the cold - or doing a hot shower first insteed, so that it is easier, because the body is already warm, though. And at some point, there is only one at one point, cold or hot, it all depends, on body, mood, and shedule. Sometimes I do only a cold one in the morning, after my breathing exercise. But mostly in the evening hours after my workout. Sometimes only a cold one, and sometimes starting with a hot one, but finishing with a nice and long cold one in the end. It all depends. Long story short. Both are great, and a combination can sometimes even better. But when doing a combination of hot and cold, finish with a cold one. It doesńt have to be long, starting with 15 seconds and then working up the ladder will suit a lot. So: embrace the cold as your new warm friend. Happy showering.
