Also talking and asking for help is often the most brave (and difficult) thing one can do. Fingers crossed for you and kudos, you're a real fighter!

Good for you opening up to your wife, even if you don't go in 'deep', you still connected and let it go off your chest. 2 very valuable things. Take care

Talking is good, especially for people like me who usually speak little

I would like to echo everyone who has already responded. It is good to have you here, and to hear what you have to say.

Today felt better, and I think, now that I know and talked I will be victorious in the end, hopefully soonish. Wow, it even feels good to write this down ... keeping fingers crossed ... fighting mode on again. Thanks for reading, I am happy to be a part of the Hive.
                Nailed it!

Talking about feelings is not easy, but it can also be helpful

I feel you on the part of wanting to deal with everything yourself, but as you already noticed talking can help surprisingly a lot. Good to hear that you reached out to your wife and you can always speak your mind on here. You got this.

... I am really overwhelmed at all those replies atm ... don´t know what to say right know ... that is really ... well, I am glad that you don´t see me right now, because I am very stirred ... no tears of course ... let´s better say there is some sweat-leftovers around my eyes from my workouts, shall we ... Thank you, it is much appreciated and I am very happy that I wrote it down here in the Hive and that I have you around and listen - like a burden I can share and which is easier to carry now. Today felt better. even my wife said that. She is the strongest in our relationship, always was, for both of us. As if speaking with my wife and writing it down here in the Hive dissolved some kind of blockade. I am still not the type of "going deep" about speaking about some stuff, especially feelings, that is nothing I really learned so far and which I always avoided, but who knows what the future holds ready. How do we say, one step at a time, this is how we roll ...
