TheLibrarian: Water quality depends greatly on where one is at in the US, but for me, it hasn't mattered where I've been, I've always felt like cold water doesn't wash all the soap off. Maybe it's psychosomatic, but it's there.

no-sugar: still banned - still ok, but beware of christmas and the tollerance of family

      Iron-Born:

cold-shower: still liking it - my wife send me a link (0:37) and said - "no ceremony of that kind, that would our neighbors not tolerate"

meditation: I like my new-found-me-time (oh yes, and I like the new emojis)

      yoga:

Epic-Sword: a sword doesn´t make a knight, but I am on the best way. And it is epic - so that eventually makes me an epic knight, right?

Rissa Thanks - but probably never - it lacks own-creations - still using somebody elses recipes

day started with a cold shower ... normally I shower in the evening, after workout, etc. wanted to see how it felt in the morning. result: still fucking cold in the first moment but I was awake and on high alert afterwards, mission accomplished.

Today was Leg day ... somehow I was not in the mood for the IronBorn-Leg-Day, therefore I did some other leg-stuff, did a minor workout on the trampoline. Then I did the climbers-yoga-video which colinclean suggested, very intense and I liked it. My shoulder gets everything I have, I hope this little bugger values my gifts ... I know it will be a long healing-process, but it still sucks atm ...

Cold Shower, Yoga and Meditation is definitely an enrichment in my life - especially since I fight with my injuries - hadn´t thought that would be the case, but even in this short period of time I feel that it helps me, and that is all that counts. Great. I am more relaxed, mood rises (I think people in my environment are happy as well), I can better concentrate (at least that´s my feeling), energy gets refueled, etc. - lets keep walking this road with the actual adjustments - still a long way, but lets keep it simple: one step at a time:

for yoga, meditation and the shower-thingy

Your posts are making me reconsider my attitude towards cold showers. To be honest I take cold showers regularly during summer but that's really no big-deal here... but last time I did it during winter I got a serious cold that lasted for nearly a week.
And in this opportunity, thanks for all the food pics, they make me feel better for some reason

I'm glad you enjoyed the climber's yoga, Librarian - I really like the shoulder opening one, but I know you're being careful with it - I think I hurt myself a little by not allowing my shoulder to heal properly when I had a shoulder issue.

                          The food looks amazing!

This is the squash you asked about:

                          https://homefarmcafe.co.uk/a-nourishing-squash/

It's nice. We've mainly been roasting it, but we have also made it into a soup. It's actually really sweet, and might work well as a sweet filling like pumpkin, so I might try to find a recipe along those lines. It was very easy to grow - we just put the seeds in the ground and up they came!

Amirsh the next future foodporn-picture will be just for you regarding the shower, that really sucks when you try it and are rewarded with a cold ... what comes to my mind right now, if in the future you want to try it again, perhaps you want to experiment with a contrast shower (cold-warm-cold-warm-cold) perhaps this has a better effect for you, afterall: everybody needs different adjustments. If you want to try it, I am looking for your feedback. I am too playing with the thought on trying contrast showers, atm there are just cold.

colinclean oh yes, I have to be carefull, what I also experienced is, that is is very essential what you do with you breath when performing the exercises, inhale ... fully out ... that makes a hell of a difference, even in body-pain-feeling. I will conquer this little nasty attachment at my body called shoulder

I haven´t heard about this squash-sort before "Ute India" - and even raw it should be tasty and sweet ... have you also tried to juice the squash? I wonder if this is possible as well - just have to think at the musque-de-provence-pumpkin which is very tasty when juiced - but I don´t know if the "Ute India" allows this kind of preparation as well. Nonetheless, thanks so much for sharing, will keep my eyes open when shopping
