I look forward to seeing your poking stick up on that tree! It looks like it will be a rocky Christmas this year

If my ankle starts acting normally I might join you in the sword-hunting quest, because it looks awesome!

TheLibrarian it happens, life gets in a way of darebee-ing hopefully, we'll see them again.
In regards of adding an ornament for someone, alas - we can't do that since they may not be ok with that (so we have to take that in consideration). It's a good thought nonetheless

Hey Lib, there's another nice yoga channel that I forgot to mention, and might be good for shoulder problems.

It's part of a climbing channel:

          https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uoP...c5sKmaQeGhpwHY

So very good on shoulders, flexibility and so on. . .

That dessert looks pretty sweet (in both meanings of the word). Is that a little whisky I can see? Happy times. Love physalis too. Yum.

I thought: what epic tree?? But then I found it. So thanks.

alleycat ssssswwwweeeeeetttttt indeed no whisky on the picture, but I had a little sake at the restaurant and at home a japanese whisky on the picture: one little jar is red-wine-sorbet and the other one is, if I remeber correctly, "Kuromitsu" - the latter is japanese sugar syrup - it was served with the "christmas-stollen".

Are you pursueing a special ornament for the tree?

Did 1000 jumping jacks as warm-up tomorrow the rest. A nice ornament indeed - worthy of knight

                      Iron Born was like:

                      Did another yoga video today

Cold-Shower Challenge is over, but I will continue and make it a daily habit - it just feels too good to quit.

Now I see the new emojis and are getting hungry ...bad, really bad, I think I will stop here and visit my kitchen ...

                        Kuromitsu...I learned something new today!

I am pursuing an ornament indeed, although I may prove unworthy of the great epic rock. Last time I tried sit ups I pulled two neck muscles and ended up going to A&E as the pain was so bad : D But this is merely practice for the greatness that awaits...in the future. Near future, maybe?

Happy fridge burgling! You sure deserve it after those 1000 jumping jacks.

On the cold shower challenge: I never feel clean when I wash my hands with cold water, like there's still some soap left. I can't imagine how awkward I'd be walking around all day dealing with the feeling that I still have soap on me.

                          Comment

alleycat you are worthy, and the tree will tremble when your name is spoken - "beware, the epic rock is emerging" - just remember that you are paper (or Spock if you like Star Trek) and beat the rock

my ktchen-burgling was not as successfull as I hoped ... firstly because of our non-sugar-challenge, secondly on my unpleasure to stay there and cook something just for a snack, and thridly because I encountered a frigde which was allready emptied so you see, today I have to do some shopping - I settled down for a few cashew-nuts instead, though.

wjs I am the soap-monster which lurks in the side-alley - beware ...

I only experienced this kind of thing when I went to Iceland. They had really soft-water, which made it almost impossible to wash off the soap - no matter if it was hot or cold water. In Germany I haven´t experienced this kind of thing yet, though. In Germany we have hard water - because we are tough and awesome bees here my theory: it´s the water

What is your water quality in the US?

Another theory of mine - but here I definitely need your help to prove it I think, that it will be no problem for you anymore if: you are completely under the cold shower (fully cold), and I mean the whole body, not only the hands, and then you have to be there and wash yourself for at least 5 minutes, well you always can go longer if that is your wish of course, but please, if you do so, make notes on your experience Looking forward to your notes.

The water in Iceland... Now you got me curious and I'll spend my breaks trying to find relevant websites

Water in iceland have one of the lowest concentrations of calcium and magnesium in the world. About 2dH. Iodine deficiency is treated by adding salt to drinking water and food... Not surprising really.
