          warm-up
          walking - with my wife
          cool-down

Thanks for the wishes my Bees

I didn´t start with a new program because tomorrow starts my physio-therapy. Lets see what comes out after the first session and how fast I can get back into the ring.
Today we walked for a few hours through the beautiful autumn countryside

            warm-up
            physio-therapy
            Iron-Born - Day 1
            Back & Core - Day 1
            cool-down

Today was the first session of my physio-therapy - didn´t really know what to expect, because it was my first physio-therapy. Got some heat-therapy in the beginning as I waited for my therapist.

Lots of talking in the beginning and some exercise and massage - the time went by too fast for my liking because the massage she gave me and working the trigger-points felt really good ...

We also agreed on "fully" - but starting low - returning to working out again - because stopping and stagnate is not an option she said. After we determined what tools I got to hand at home - we agreed on some dumbbell workout to strengthen the arm and shoulder and upper-body area. Then I directly thought of the Iron-Born program - well, it was settled. Because I also liked the Back & Core as some kind of add-on-program, I added it at the end of the workout. It felt good.

Next session is on Thursday - so far, so good - but It will be a long process and road to take, lets get started.

I totally agree with your physio-therapist stating that not exercising isn't an option - you just have to take into consideration your limitations of course. I had a whiplash injury to my upper back/ shoulder about 5 years ago after being in a car accident. I had done physio then and did exercise (with some modifications) and feel that it helped me recover from the injury probably more quickly than if I hadn't exercised.

It is great to hear that she gave you ideas of what you should do for exercises as well.

I hope that your recovery is speedy with the physio

                    Belated Happy Badge Day!

It sounds like your physiotherapist knows how to work well with athletes. That's great!

The rumour is, Jessie Graff got really, really good at hanging from her arms for hours at a time while recovering from a torn ACL. Maybe your training will have similarly awesome results.

Joomju that sounds like an awesome recovery-story - lets hope for the best

                      Back & Core - Day 3
                      cool-down

another physio-session with a trigger-point-massage ... well, it was good and felt a bit like a "carrot-and-stick-policy" because at some points I felt like I was on an anvil and in a vice all at once - and in the next moment there was this feather-and-honey-like-smoothing. Nonetheless, it felt good, and I hope in the end it gets me there where I want to be - so I will keep my fingers crossed and keep going.
I also took the Darebee program of "IronBorn" and "Back&Core" with me and showed it to my therapist to go through the exercises and talk about some good and bad moves because of my shoulder-pain - and you know what? she liked the program and gave the Hive a big thumbs up - that really made my day

Now: lets keep going and conquer the upcoming day ... no matter what

New week - and I hate time-change. But there is a solution for every problem = right, a good DareBee workout

The other solution for you other than a good DareBee workout is to move to Saskatchewan - the only province in Canada that doesn't need to change their clocks... I really don't envy everyone that has to change their clocks in the spring and fall, just because I could never figure out which way to go.
