    TheLibrarian for TGU form is actually more important than volume. Weight is the best indicator / way to correct flaws.... At the end of each non kettlebell day I would suggest one TGU with your 16 bell until you are confident they are good then swap the dumbell

      xingyiquan Thanks for your input! Your idea sounds great! Will give it a try (except on the fencing-days, that would be too much load): after each none-kettlebell-day adding one TGU - will try to do one per side. Looking forward to the next real kettlebell-day on Tuesday! Will keep you posted.

            Wednesday was again "Bergfest" - and how best to celebrate? right: grab your Longsword

            Yesterday was no wrestling, because we alternate our training after 2 weeks. A well balanced trainings-approach. I really like both trainings and are already looking forward to the next wrestling training.

            Longsword training was fun, exhausting and demanding, as always! We repeated a lot and learned some new stuff as well.

            And you always meet a great bunch of awesome people. Some are in your age, some older, some younger, females and males, peoples from different regions and even people with different languages. And we all share the same hobby and devotion. It makes so much fun!

              Today I added, as recommended by xingyiquan 1 TGU at the end of my workout with the 16kg kettlebell.

              I was really surprised that it worked quite well ... at least on my right side. As I started the program it was not possible for me to use the kettlebell for TGU - It seams that I am stronger Form and execution was good so far IMO and it felt right. But still something to work on further.

              Then I did the TGU on the left side. It worked ... but it didn´t felt right ... it was not the weight itself but it was the pressure on the outside of my arm where the kettlebell was ... you get my drift? Therefore form and execution was far away from good.

              Perhaps I did something wrong because I am not accustomed to use my left side? or perhaps I should use something (cloth) which I can put between the kettlebell and my arm? Have some of you experienced something similar? any ideas? Or only do them on the right side?

              well, I guess my left side just needs the routine and time for adaption. Will try it again on saturday, the next workout-day of the program.

              Pull-ups, hanging-knee-raises and lying-leg-raises were good today. I really liked the pull-ups today - the last two sets I did "mixed-grip-pull-ups" don´t know why, but as I gripped the bar my body took it in the mixed-grip ... then I thought: why not! interesting, didn´t do it before this way ... because I couldn´t do it before. I notice that I am stronger in this kind of exercise.

                    would just wearing a long sleeve tshirt/hoodie (just for that bit, bc who the fuck works out in sleeves) be enough? It may be something about the texture of it against skin that is annoying, somehow. (Like, I have learned I need to wear a tshirt, NOT a tank on leg day bc jfc if I have that barbell touching bare skin on my shoulders/back it is just horrible somehow.)

                    Also, edit, I really think TGU looks awesome as a full body conditioning mood. I somehow cannot bring myself to try it tho as I am a spaz and the fact the weight is over my head the entire time just scares me. Maybe I will try someday with a super light bell >.>

                        Keeping the muscles cool helps with gainz, no shirts for lifting. That and you just really can't make a quality sweat angle with a shirt on.

                              Training was like: 1 move practiced for 10000 times. And it wasn´t boring at all. We could work on many things and flaws.

                              After that: sword-maintenance. I am still working on the best way to do it - and the best way that suits me. For example which polish to use, sequence, are there natural ways to maintain a sword and no chemical things, etc. So far it worked well, and I am quite pleased. But one can never be fully pleased So, if one of you have experience with this kind of thing, please share your knowledge so that I can steel it

                                Morning began with: farmer´s walk back from the farmer´s market

                                Today my wife made some new mustard and used a new recipe. Now: weeks of waiting

                                Push + Rows were great. Then I did another try with the TGU and my kettlebell. Right side was again good. Left, not perfect but nonetheless better. Still some strain on the outside of my arm were the kettlebell lies in the holding position - but not as bad as with the first try. So, it can only be better the next time, right!

                                Will try to continue using the kettlebell and to get - especially my left hand - accustomed to the pressure and strain. Therefore - eventually Tuesday - Kettlebell-Day - will be subject to change. The plan says: 10 TGU at the end of the workout - eventually I will reduce that number. But lets find out on Tuesday.

                                Now - we prepare a pumpkin soup and corn bread. And I have to decide which character to use ... I found my old Diablo2 key ... well, evil has to be defeated, right?
