    Flexibility Challenge Day 3

Nothing on Wednesday and Thursday. Felt sick and had a headache.

    10.05.2019 - FRIDAY

    Morning push ups: 30+20+15; 1:30 rest (65)
    3 pull ups
PT Pyramid without pull ups: to 10th set and back - 200 push ups; 300 sit ups+200s elbow planks

    ---

Had a translation exam on Thursday/Friday. So.... the exam season has officially begun.

But on the bright side, I convinced my boyfriend to come with me to the beach to try out some pull ups. I took away the metal cast and did a few just to test everything out. All seems to be okay, except for the arms. I need to get the strength back. The finger is healing well, I guess. I'll go to the doctor on 24th of May to see if it's healed. But I can do push ups. So I did 265 yesterday And the finger didn't say a word, so I can start my push up training to get strength back to my arms I think when it comes to the point that I can start doing pull ups again, the problem is not the broken spot but the joints that have been locked into one position for a month. The most problematic thing will be to get them moving and strong enough again and get the grip strength back.

    See ya soon!

Gandhalfit Hi! My finger has fully healed and I'm back to training regularly

        ---
        And an overall update:

I've gotten most of my strength back, but I'm stuck at 15 pull ups again. Grip strength is a problem right now. I've been training at least twice a day for about 2 weeks and I also started working on my dips. I also started running again not very regularly, but I actually like to run when listening to music and when I'm home, away from the city.
This summer I have a very tight schedule. This friday I'm going skydiving for the first time!!!! I can't wait!!! Around July 12-14 I'll be attending American Beauty Car Show. Right after that I'll be travelling for a week with my family (Poland, Germany (Heidepark), Austria) and then I'll stay in Austria for three weeks to study German I already looked up places I could go to train And after that I'm gonna work until university starts again.

I hope to be better at keeping you guys up to date with what I'm doing.

        See ya!

          02.07.2019 - TUESDAY

          Morning push ups: 10 normal+10 diamond+10 archer+10 hindu+2 one arm

Pull ups (pyramid): 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+8+7+6+5+4+3+2+1; 10s rest per every pull in previous set (81)
          Flexibility Challenge Day 5

Today was supposed to be leg day (as in 7 sets of Hell-Forged and Damage Control etc) but my boyfriend found a group that teaches beginners parkour and we are going to meet them tomorrow, so I don't want to kill my legs for tomorrow. A week ago when I did Hell-Forged on lvl. 3 I was sore until the end of the week. I'm kinda nervous because I haven't really started anything from zero for quite a while and since it involves learning in a group then it is gonna get difficult because I'm very shy when it comes to meeting new people. Throw my shyness and learning a completely new thing together and I can only hope it doesn't result in a disaster. I usually like to practice and learn things on my own but I guess I have to step out of my comfort zone for this one. I just hope it goes well.

          See ya

If you are ever in Kraków, let me know. There is already another Bee from here coming to that gorgeus city. We can all meet up and even if not, I can give you some tips on where to go

            (or just check this post)

KYRO Thanks! I'll see if I can make it, but probably not, because Kraków won't be on the route we're driving :/ Maybe some other time it would be thrilling to meet another bee.

                03.07.2019 - WEDNESDAY

Pull ups (grip switch): 3x4 normal+3x4 close grip chin ups+ 3x4 wide grip pull ups; 1 min rest
                Dips: 13+11+10+9+8; 1:30 rest (51)
                3 L-sit pull ups

Parkour got canceled because of bad weather and people being very tired. But it will probably still happen tomorrow. I woke up 6am (because: travelling to my university city) and could not make myself do push ups to failure. I am really not a morning person. The little workout I did, I did at midnight

                See ya!

Famous last words? But seriously, tell us how it was! (Parkour, I mean)

Well, altogether I think I did parkour for about 1,5-2 hours. My boyfriend's friend agreed to show up an hour earlier and show us the basics. We started with hanging off the wall and moving along the wall while hanging. Then he showed the technique with what you can easily get up and on the wall and I got it on first try! He then proceeded to show some easier vaults and jumps. Since that wasn't exactly my strong side, I decided to just observe at that moment. Later, when other started to gather and do their own stuff, my shyness kicked in and I chose to practice on my own a bit away from them. So.. first I polished my skills in jumping onto a wall and grabbing onto the ledge and hoisting myself up. Then I decided to climb from a windowsill to a windowsill while hanging, but quit after a few times because it was quite slippery. Then I basically did box jumps until one member of the group decided to help me learn the monkey vault. Which I managed to get quite fast I then practiced those things a bit on my own and then we moved over to different locations where all I did was observe because there were just too many people watching us. I plan on practicing the things they did but I didn't on my own later in the evenings when there won't be so many people. I know I shouldn't care and just do it even with people there but hey. I don't like people watching me do stuff when I'm just learning to do it

                          ---

Skydiving was also fun. I jumped with an instructor. It was a quite funny experience. When I got there, they asked my mother "how old your child is" and when she answered "20" then the little "oh" made me almost laugh. I loved the fall. I'm quite surprised it didn't give me an adrenaline rush, though. I can't quite describe the feeling, but the fall was amazing and I loved floating around there The landing was much more softer and slower than I expected. If I have the chance and the time and the resources, I would love to pick up skydiving as a hobby.

Holly clouds and walls that sounds so packed. It's great you have the nerve to try those things (and let us live vicariously through your post) (it has a wall)

I didn't do anything on Saturday because I'm lazy On Sunday, however, I had to carry some tables and benches (which were around 50-25kg respectively). We celebrated the end of the spring season with my family and some aquaintances. My father's a farmer and up to that point had to work hard almost around the clock every day. Now he can take a much earned vacation until the autumn season begins.

                                08.09.2019 - MONDAY

20 push ups in the morning - I was tired and only got like 3 hours to sleep because of the party
Pull ups (to failure): 14+9+7+6+6; 1:30 rest (42)
                                Dips: 14+12+11+10+9; 2 minutes rest (56)
                                Pyramid (x2 push ups+x5 sit-ups): 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+6+5+4+3+2+1; no rest (98 push ups+245 ab exercises)

What can I say. I was tired and my arms were dead by carrying the stuff the day before I'm actually surprised I could do that many pull ups.

                                09.09.2019 - TUESDAY

                                A bit of running
Pull ups: 1+2+3+4+5+6+7; 10s rest per every pull in previous set (28)
Modified game of monopoly: 3+7+7+11 pistol squats; 4 jumping lunges; 5 archer push ups; 3+4+5 V-Ups

I was dragged along to a training session with my boyfriend and the friend that taught us parkour. It was early in the morning and I had just woken up so I kinda just did something and didn't have the willpower to do anything more later on. I know I'm gonna regret this later on

                                ---

About the modified game of monopoly. There are those cards that you can draw when you step onto certain tiles (I don't know what they're called in English), but we replaced them with real playing cards, one pack for each spot. We decided that hearts represent squats, spades jumping lunges, diamonds push ups and clubs sit-ups. When you play it, you can decide on whatever exercise you want. I chose to take harder variations of these for myself because I'm playing with my little sister and brother and it would be fairer in terms of effort put in. Anyway, each card also represents the number of reps you have to do (the same nr as on the card or as in the case of not numbered ones -- B=11; Q=12; K=13; A=14; Joker=nothing) and the amount of money you get (so 2=2 money; 3=3 money...; B=20; Q=50; K=100; A=500; Joker=500). We also decided that one of the stacks give double the amount if you do it, but if you can't do it, then you have to pay the original (not double) amount back into bank yourself. And that's about it It adds a twist and we played it for five hours straight one day (they usually don't have the strength to concentrate on one activity that long, unless it has to do with electronics).

                                See ya!
