Awww, guys, you made my day with all of your comments! Thank you so much!
Today: Flexibility Week, Day 1
Phew... first change of the day: back to counting reps and not just listening to the cue of the timer. And then, this has been a real workout for me, not just "some stretching"... Not so much because of the flexibility part, but more because of the plank walkouts and the lunge torso twists that really needed strength, too.
But it has been a good start into the day!

And it's Monday again...
Saturday:
I woke up quite early and had nothing planned, so enough time for an extensive workout. I started with the WOD, Falcon.
Then I did Flexibility Week, Day 2, the Stronghold workout.
That was a good combination and I still have quite some soreness in my shoulders...
Sunday:
Flexibility Week, Day 3 was to be done.
Nice workout, especially all those stretches for the kicks. They are hard!
Other than that, not a lot happened. Spent quite some time in the sun (nearly got the first sunburn of the year...) and then my boyfriend left for at least a week - he's helping his parents because of a lot of medical issues and hospital visits coming up this week. :-/
Today: Flexibility Week, Day 4
I added the DD to my warm-up and then stretched thoroughly once again. It's amazing how much work it is if you're really working on stretching and flexibility. I really like the mixture of different stretching techniques the flexibility week is offering.

Had a good night's sleep, the weather is still wonderful (although I'm sitting in the office all day long...) and I enjoyed today's workout:
I started with the WOD once again as a warm-up. I had a look at it and liked it a lot more than doing the DD...
Done on Level 1 - short, but intense! Definitely a nice warm-up before stretching, today with Far Point.
Some very nice stretches. I realized over the last few days of stretching that I need to make sure that I distribute my weight evenly and that I keep especially my legs straight. It seems like I always tend to twist my right leg away a bit. Makes some stretches definitely easier, but that's not the point of all that.
On another note, I had ordered the Fighter's Codex book as a reward and received it yesterday.I love all the kicking and punching explanations in the front of the book! And the texts for every workout are included, too, something that I missed in the PDF.
Although the page layout of the text pages definitely could use a bit more workout as there are some quite unfortunate page breaks and stuff...
But I'm still not sure if this is the next program after the Flexibility Week... there are just too many possiblities!
Hopefully the work part of the day will pass quickly. Additionally, my mother-in-law is in surgery right now, so my mind is not completely here... hopefully, everything goes alright.

Today: Flexibility Week, Day 6 - Bowman
Stretching again. Feels good, but I'm also looking forward to some "normal" workout. I'm still not sure what will be next.
Off topic: Just got a call from my boyfriend (who is with his mother in the hospital), there were some complications yesterday that nobody was aware of until later that night... Not too bad, but well, complicating things. Isn't it enough that she's got cancer?! Stupid Murphy... Additionally, his father waits for a heat surgery on Friday... perfect timing.
Sorry, all that is totally not fitness related, but I'm just so completely helpless, sitting here in the office, 400-650 km away from them all... I wish that it would be already 7 pm - training would at least take my mind of all that for 2 hours. :-/
