A baby rhinoceros?! Oh, that's cute!!

It definitely was nice being able to go outside for a longer period of time without getting wet or freezing. It wasn't even that good around here, we had lots of clouds and a quite strong wind in the afternoon - the wind always gives me trouble on my motorbike!

Today: Combat HIIT Day 28: Done on Level 3

Can't seem to wake up today... my alarm rang in the middle of some deep sleep, so I really struggled with getting up... Fortunately, Combat HIIT is still short, especially on abs days - like today! And I gave it my everything and did all the sets! Those leg raises really made it hard....

Today: Combat HIIT Day 29: Done on Level 1
Phew, that was intense. Only did Level 1 and most push-ups from my knees as I didn't want to kill my arms before training tonight. Ended my morning workout with a practice of all the forms we need to know for the next belt.

Aaaand, I made a decision on what to do next: It's time for some stretching, so it's time for Flexibility Week (starting on Friday)!

Today: Combat HIIT Day 30: Done on Level 1

Badge day!!! I'm bruised and hurting from training yesterday. I slept badly and had a short night. I am quite emotional and worried for my parents-in-law (Murphy is an a**hole as well as cancer...just sayin'). Perfect conditions to go all-in on the last day of Combat HIIT, don't you think? And yes, it was, especially the punches. Now I'm at least feeling more or less awake and I can think a lot more rational once again. I hate feelig helpless, especially with people I love.

But hey, no need for a bad mood, it's badge day, I'm done!!! TheLibrarian I like badges, too.

                  Happy Badge Day

And sorry to hear about your parents-in-law being sick, I can understand your feeling of helplessness - my boyfriend's mother is currently recovering from a heart attack and has a lot of unsolved health issues

I nearly missed quite an important day yesterday - I started my check-in thread 6 months ago! Amazing how fast time passes. I think 6 months is a good time to look bit and think about all that happened.

Everything started with Foundation. Yes, it's perfect as a foundation; it helped me ease into working out every morning. My Hero's Journey has been quite an enjoyable experience, too. Yes, I moaned a lot in the later days about the length of the workouts, but I learned a lot! And now, Combat HIIT is done, too. The third program. Yes, three programs in 6 months instead of the allocated 4 is not perfect, but good enough for me. I restarted Hero's Journey once (luckily, the one week in November has been the only time I've been sick this winter!), and I also restarted Combat HIIT.

What did I learn in the last months?
I learned consistency. Every morning, I get up and do my workout. Yes, sometimes that's not perfect and sometimes I give up way too early, but that's ok, too. And hey, it even affects my mood - it's best not to speak to me before I'm done with my workout...
                    I don't hate push-ups that badly anymore...
During Hero's Journey, I gained a lot of muscle definition in my arms and shoulders! I love it and it's still there! If it wasn't winter and not appropriate in the office, I'd definitely wear more tank tops!
Especially during Combat HIIT, I had lots of chances to work on my kicks. And yes, I can feel and see the difference in each training. My kicks are more precise and a lot more stable than before.

Last, but definitely not least, I’m working out alone, on my own, in my room at home. But all that wouldn’t be possible without the hard work of neilarey, TheRaven, Damer and all others involved and without the support of all the people commenting and liking all my babbling, like TheLibrarian, lpf, BuurmanSven, sleep_twitch, PetiteSheWolf, K e l l y, Redline, Cortis and all the others I forgot (my bad, sorry ). THANK YOU!

Grins, the babbling and liking are an integral part of this great hive Glad to be of encouragement, Knirin !

I think three (four months of) programs in your first six months is a great achievement!! Happy badge day

Yeah, it's not about how many programs you do - it's about waking up every morning and starting your day with a bang.
Also, keep babbling; it's always a pleasure to read you!

Oh, and it may be too early in the year to wear tank tops in the office, but you can always post photos here, you know...
