Glad to hear that you are feeling better! And congratulations on your restart! and apropos badge day: after 15 days of constant training you recieve the first badge, after 30 days you recieve the badge for 30 days and combat hiit! So, keep going, and us posted! Have fun with Combat HIIT and, btw, it doesn´t matter if you are doing a workout on LvL1, 2 or 3 - surly it is a great feeling when you master it on LvL3, but sometimes you don´t have to! Just listen to your body and go as far as you can! The main goal is that you workout, the Level on which you are doing your workout is secondary!

Today: Combat HIIT Day 2: Done on Level 1

Woha... I definitely felt the push-ups. I nearly reached failure in the third set... And I had trouble pouring the hot water over my tea afterwards...

TheLibrarian You're right, I completely forgot about the continous training badges! So it's now 2 days done, 13 to go for the next badge!
        And thanks for the encouragement!

Today: Combat HIIT Day 3: Done on Level 1

Well, it definitely doesn't get boring with all those short and intense intervals. I like that, a lot! Additionally, there was even enough time to do the DD afterwards - did 3 minutes on each leg. Wow, that got hard towards the end! Not so much the balance stuff, more the muscles trying to hold that position.
It seems that all that martial arts training has improved my balance a lot, especially as we are training on those thin mats that additionally challenge your balance.

          I'm slightly sore from yesterday's push-ups... so everything's alright!

This is exactly how I feel! My lower leg muscles start burning. Great job on three minutes per side!

We had fun in training yesterday. Especially as it was only one black belt and six colour belts from total beginner to mid-advanced. During "warm-up" I had the Impression that this black belt must at least know of Darebee: jumping jacks, push-ups, planks, plank leg raises, body saw, scissors, flutter kicks, crunches, half sit-ups,... phew, that was hard work!

I got home... and stayed up way too late. Normally, as we have training until 9:30 pm, I should get straight to bed as soon as I'm home to get my 7 hours of sleep... But instead I discussed stuff with my boyfriend and just enjoyed his company (due to different work schedules and his mother having cancer and living 400 km away, those moments are rare enough...) and only got to bed at 11:20 pm... and not enough, I woke up by myself at 4:30 am and couldn't get back to sleep! So I got up at 5:15 am and did my workout:

Today: Combat HIIT Day 4: Done on Level 3 (!)

That was fun! Luckily, my abs didn't feel that sore from training (probably still on ist way...) and pushed through.

Now... just get over with the day without falling asleep in the office...

Today: Combat HIIT Day 5: Done on Level 1

Still tired, but slept a lot more than yesterday. Quite sore from training and yesterday's abs workout... But I'll live. ;-)
Nice kicking practice this morning with those speed bag punches getting the heart rate really up and my arms hating me. ;-)

Oh well... sometimes, I'd love to get really sick. But it Looks like my body doesn't want that. So I'm stuck with a sore throat, feeling faint and queasy and tired since saturday. *sigh*
Took the weekend off from workouts after training on friday, but it didn't make it better (nor worse).

So, this morning, I did my workout as usual. If I'm fit enough to go to work, I can workout, too.
Today: Combat HIIT Day 6: Done on Level 1

Push-ups + shoulder taps + punches... felt like some hidden burpees... Added the DD and now I'm at work. Throat is still sore, I'm tired, but well, definitely not sick enough to stay at home...

Gute besserung and keep up the good work in training. I those almost-sick moments are best survivable if I simply power through the training and otherwise just dress warm and get enough rest and such.

Thanks a lot, Colin, Louve rose and BuurmanSven. Not feeling better or worse today... So I'm doing it like BuurmanSven said: Keep powering through the training, drinking lots of tea and water and trying not to stress myself too much.

Today: Combat HIIT Day 7: Done on Level 1

I like those practice days, especially as I already improved with those side kicks - as remarked by one of the trainers last wednesday in martial arts training.

Well, now I'm sitting in the office again... and just slammed my knee into the desk, so hard that it still hurts 5 minutes later... (Don't ask me why...)

Yeah, more or less... except that the stupid table didn't even move a little bit...

Awwwww! Don't kick heavy desks, dear, for they are angry and don't give.
