Well, certainly don't put any pressure on that knee - but you knew that already, didn't you?
And some more healing thoughts coming your way...

      Thanks all - Louve rose , twinkletoes , Mr. Octopus , Redline , I-Matanjah ...
I gave it a good thought while doing total abs, yesterday evening, and....
Even several of the abs exercise end up lopsided as my mobility in my right knee does not get any better. So even the abs are getting lopsided training - risking that I hurt the back, and so on.
Sigh. You're right, it is time for a pause.
I will continue walking (doesn't hurt my knee if I do not slip, and even recommended if it is femor-patellar syndrome as thought by the first doc), and do the DD if they do not touch the knee and are symmetrical, but I will put the rest on hold until I see the sport doc on February second.

I am afraid the walking does not count for the "days in a row" badge, so there it goes , LOL. But I will be back, and do not expect me to not come log in my step count (and read your adventures )

      Hugs to all!

I'd say walking counts as any form of exercise.

            Why shouldn't walking count ?

                Thanks Sundance
Louve rose and twinkletoes , I agree it does count overall Not sure in the challenge here
I walked 12,510 steps yesterday and 10,649 steps today.
Good thing : I had ordered some clothes online, and received them yesterday evening - and guess what? Most of them fit Actually, all, but one dress which I had ordered in two sizes, in case. I hate clothes-hunting, and it tends to feed my poor body image as I am very, well, .... very petite, with an odd waist/hip ratio, and in most stores, it is not simple! So this was a little victory. If ever that cute guy invites me again this winter, I have two feminine dresses to show off, arooooooo!

                    High-five to Louve rose
                    So, Thursday 7,119 steps
                    Friday 11,445 steps
                    Saturday 6,912 steps
                    Sunday (today) 10,255 steps

It's very cold right now, and though I usually do not mind, my knee protests vehemently... Hence the two bad days

Friday evening I did the knee radio, but saw only the technicians, so had absolutly no comment, I will have to wait until Tuesday, when I pick up the results, for that. For all the official communication from the ministry of health that "healthcare participants have to communicate for better treatment" and yada yada, this is absolutly the opposite of what is happening. Technicians taking the pic, then the radiologue reviews it in their little office away from the patient (so having not the faintest idea of what happens with me, except the scribble on the prescription "femur-patella syndrome?" ...), then I will be the one giving the results to the sport doc who will have to call them (and reach them, so definitly not exactly when I am in his office) if he has any question or discusssion to do... Sigh.

Everybody covering for themselves and afraid to take responsibility? Sounds familiar.
(Fortunately, it's not always that way.)

Let's hope you'll have good news on Tuesday!

Redline , yeah, and it is not only responsability, but it makes follow-up harder.

As I may have already mentioned, I have a cardiac malformation, along with other things due to the same genetic cause. So I have learned to keep tabs - I actually have a folder, to keep all info together so that it can be easily transmitted to whatever doc I see at the moment, so that he/she has a global vision of my health, not piecemeal. But that is not easy - sometimes even getting the summaries from medical staff is a hurdle.

So... The radiologist saw nothing. According to a friend who has femoro-patellar syndrome, that is not unusual, and the sport doc may gleam more info from the radio. At least I am glad it is not a fracture or some faults in my bones as I was fearing starting osteoporosis. Now we wait until February second until the sport doc!

I walked 8,972 steps on Monday, and 8,654 steps yesterday Tuesday. Not my goal, but with the temperature making the knee worse, I will live with that.

Right now, with a hurt knee, anything is better than nothing, and the goal should be "walk as many steps as possible without pain".

Tonight is sport doctor's "night", so I hope to have some answers, advices, and directions for a kinesitherapeut. I will keep you updated!

                                Thanks K e l l y and all those who "liked " yesterday post!

So, well, this is not femoro-pattelar syndrome, but the meniscus , which exterior part seems damaged. So, the doctor immediatly called al hospital to Schedule me an IRM, and I have to see hom as soon as the results of the IRM are out - next week, before I leave for vacations.
If it is the damage he thinks, first step is a local injection (of corticoids if I understood well), "pray and light a candle it works" (his own words ), and if it is not enough, intervention via arthroscopy to get out the damaged part.

I like very much his rapidity - least I can say is that he is taking things in hand, and that he was clear on the different steps. I tend to be a lucky person, so now that the diagnostic is almost sure, I am sure the rest will follow nicely

Exercise-wise, I took out the knee exercise sheets, but he immediatly stopped me, "no way you do anything like that before we get the IRM, you get rest, Young lady!" Well... Grr, but Sir Yes Sir!
