Yesterday I did advent Calendar Day 11, Back and Core Day 5, 2*10 one legged bridges with ten sec hold, 2*10 pistol squats from low bench, warrior III, meditation, and walked 11,215 steps.

I had my annual cardiology appointment, everything went very well - and I even got a signed certificate that I can do races up to 10 KM next year (yay for Totoro emojis!)

Thanks TheLibrarian , colinclean , MissMolly , bdthom , aveoturbo and I-Matanjah ! I am starting too look at the different races in / close by Paris next spring, hmmm... I aim more for about 7 Kms (like La Parisienne I did last fall), because I know 7Kms was doable, but tough. We will see.

Wednesday I did advent Calendar Day 12, Back and Core Day 6, 2*10 side-lying hip bridges, 2*10 regular bridges, warrior III, meditation, and walked 10,628 steps.

Yesterday Thursday I did advent Calendar Day 13, Back and Core Day 7, 2*10 one legged bridges with ten sec hold, 2*10 pistol squats from low bench, warrior III, meditation, and walked about my 10,000 steps goal - silly me had put my Versa in charge during breakfast (it charges fast), but forgot to put it back before leaving for work, so no step counting. But with what I did, I should be good. And oh, 10 mins threadmill , and weighlifting circuit at the gym (I was supposed to be doing the crossfit-like class, but we weren't enough so they cancelled).

Tonight I should be doing my cross-fit class, though.

Sunday Advent Calendar Day 16, back and core Day 9, 7,480 steps.

                    391 consecutive days of exercise.

This week was a hard one work wise and running around - wise, but still managed to walk my 10,000 steps 6 days out of 7; meditate 6 days out of 7, and go twice to the gym.

No idea how next week will be - still do not know what my SIL wants for present, and I have wayyyyy more food shopping to do than I thought to prepare for the 24th evening ... Oh well, we will make it, the Grinch shall not win over us, LOL!

All looks good, PSW, you are ruling this! I'm sure you'll get your food together, and after all, French people are famous for not really being that bothered about food...

I guess food is to the French what sheep are to the Welsh: something we're famous for all over the world, but we really have too much (or too many) if you ask us.

And yeah, kinda part of our culture, for good or for bad.And on Christmas, definitly too much food indeed! Even if it cannot top TheLibrarian 's food porn, I should try to take some pics of the Christmas buffet, LOL!

Hello all, I hope you had a good Christmas! Mine was great - food came out good (pics will follow tommorow, I promise, LOL!), I was spoiled - inlcuding bone conduction earphones for my runs, my parents were in good spirit and good shape despite their move (long story but moving at 79 and 80 years old is no small feat, physically and mentally), and the time with my bros was awesome.

Sports wise, I have been finishing the advent calendar, and doing Back and Core daily, my additional exercises, and meditation, daily. Today I even went to the gym for running and weight lifting. Daily step count was above 10,000 steps on Saturday, Sunday, not on Monday and Tuesday but I will not fret about it, and today back to above 10,000 steps.

                                401 consecutive days of exercise.
