    Hi bees,
I started my first Darebee Challenge in June 2016 because I had stopped nearly all physical activity after joining university. When I was younger I was quite good at sports (mainly rugby and basketball) but after 7 years of inactivity my endurance was close to zero and I couldn't accept it anymore.

I decided to join the Hive to have a more permanent log than my notebook, to get advice from other bees and because I love collecting badges/achievements

As long term goals I'd like to exercise every day, have a healthier diet, collect as many badges/achievement on Darebee as I can and get an overall sense of control of my physical and intellectual abilities.

Also, I'm a teacher. I teach Physics and Chemistry. I'm french and for all the french bees out there : it's "chocolatine" not "pain au chocolat"

Today I felt great and since it was a rest day for my running challenge I tried some DDs and the weekly quest. The first DD (2 minutes raised leg hold) was a nightmare, it took me 4 sets. Diamond push-ups for the Boss Battle were easier than I thought. I did some instead of regular push-ups in the 10,000 punches challenge and some more along the day. In total I did 80 and I'm very proud of it. Never thought I'll do that many. Finally I tried a last DD (5 min arm hold) and did it with EC. Today started tough but ended well

        AGirlHasNoName Thanks !

I forgot to mention that I tried to make a green smoothie but it wasn't conclusive. Mixing multiple ingredients doesn't seem to be my thing I would have prefer eating each one separately.

Only 8 days left in "From walking to running" an 2 more for the 10,000 punches challenge. So far no major problem. I think I'll try "The long run" after that and maybe the "5 minute plank challenge". Thanks to all the diamond push-ups for the weekly quest I've been able to do the "20 raised leg push-up" DD easily with EC. It's only been a month and I already feel I'm stronger than I ever was. Thanks to all the Darebee Team for the great ressources ! Now let's see how far I can get

For some reason I felt good today so I did a bit more than usual. After my daily challenges I did the DD with EC and I started the Katana Week program. It was tough but I manage to do level 3 of Shadow warrior. I'm not sure I always held the bokken correctly, I'll have to watch the video a few more times, but it was fun anyway.

Day 24 of from walking to running
              Day 22 of 10,000 punches
DD with EC (my arms are very long apparently)
Day 2 of Katana week (ninja hunter)

and a bunch of pokemon go hunting (today is the official release in France). I nearly double my daily walking distance according to my miband. There's not a lot of pokemon in my neighborhood and my gps is laggy. Tomorrow I'll try another spot. Wish me luck

Day 25 of from walking to running
                Day 23 of 10,00 punches
                DD with EC
Day 3 of Katana week (samurai) now I get a nice and satisfying woosh when I do cuts.

My left leg hurts a little after all that pokemon hunting yesterday. I'll go easy this evening, I don't want an injury before the end of my running challenge.

                  Day 24 of 10,000 punches
                  DD with EC
Day 4 of Katana week (quick draw) my favorite workout so far.
100 leg swings for the weekly quest (I forgot to mention that I did 150 yesterday).

My leg still hurt a little but its ok. My motivation is up. This afternoon : pokémon hunting in Angoulême (apparently there's more pokémon out there than in my town).

Katana week was a lot of fun ! I ordered a proper bokken and I'm definitely going to do some katana workout in the future.

Day 30 of from walking to running : program completed !
                          Day 28 of 10,000 punches
                          DD without EC.

I'm going to wait a couple days before starting another program/challenge, my leg still hurts a little and I want it to heal completely. Maybe I'll do something that doesn't focus on lower body if it takes to long.

I just received my brand new bokken. It's nice and shiny. Can't wait to do some more katana workout's.

                            Day 29 of 10,000 punches
                            DD without EC

I said I won't start a new program but I couldn't stay there doing nothing so I started Fondation light (lvl 3) and the 5 minutes plank challenge. Thanks to all the punching and the katana week my arms feel way better but I need to focus more on my abs now. I always miss the extra credit of the DD because of them.

                              Day 30 of 10,000 punches : challenge completed !
Day 2 of Foundation light (lvl3)
Day 2 of Five minutes plank
                              DD with EC
100 knee strikes for the weekly challenge.

I'm probably going to swim later today. I did it yesterday and it was very relaxing. If my leg feels good tomorrow I'll start the Long run program, or else I'll do a Katana workout.
