I have never been not been able to lose weight if I really try...Sometimes I kind of eat like crap but I've been logging my food and showing a calorie deficit but I can. not. get. that. scale. to. BUDGE. I know weight is not a good indication of fitness level. But if I have to buy bigger pants I'm going to be pi$$ed...

I gained maybe ten pounds in five or six months, decided something needed to change, found DAREBEE, started watching my food and working out/walking/running, and I've gained another five pounds in seven weeks! What the what!?

KYRO, how did you like Cardio Blast? I'm looking at that next. I first thought HIIT, then thought maybe I should do Cardio Blast first, and now I've been going back and forth between the two for a few days (of course, I still have two weeks of Gravity left...) and I can't decide.

What level did you complete most days on, and what would you estimate the time commitment was?

I did the Cardio Blast in October and November 2015 and it took me about 30-40 min/day on lvl 2.
The weather was s*&t and instead of running, I did CB. Also, I started to workout again after a month - small vacation and horrible cold after that took me down.

But the program was updated in December and I don't know how much.

It doesn't look that time consuming but it's always hard to tell. I think I'm just going to give it a try. Basing my decision on nothing other than it's level 2 and HIIT is level 3, so that's the order I should do them in

            I might even start it before I finish Gravity. Shh...don't tell I know that's a no-no.

Today I AM sore. But the good kind.

Damer, you guys are brilliant!! Mid-foot stride is perfection Yes, there was new pain in muscles I probably wasn't using much before but I couldn't believe the difference!! Britt0, must try.

Walking to Running Days 21 and 22
I did days 21 (one minute walking, one minute running x 5) AND 22 (one minute walking, two running x 3) and feel great!

              Gravity Day 17
Up and down planks, I hate you almost as much as lunge step ups

Overall a good day but I'm still chucking my scale.

Ya know? I'm with you on the scale-chucking thing. I still have mine, but I never look at my weight, it is too frustrating when it doesn't change and too baffling when it does - it never seems to tally with what I'm actually doing.

Have you considered taking measurements and updating them maybe once a month?

Oh sure, I've considered it It's really not even the scale, I wasn't joking about needing new pants. Which, probably means I'm not being honest with myself about what I'm eating (or how much I'm burning with exercise.) But, I can see certain areas changing and toning. I have also lost 2% body fat (if my Omron monitor is right?? Let's go with yes) in seven weeks so I feel pretty good about that. But my pants are still tight

I probably will take measurements before I start Cardio Blast. I wish I would have taken them at the beginning of Foundation and Gravity too.

Today I'm feeling sorry for myself... 100 lunge step ups is just too much >|

Yesterday life got in the way again...only the fourth day in two months I missed exercise of any kind. But both times this month were when I knew I had those darn lunge step ups. And today I have time. But I just don't WANNA!!

I'm excited to move on to Cardio Blast but at this rate I'll never finish Gravity

I did it but I'm not happy about it. Blech.

                        Gravity Day 18
Level one, no way I was doing more than 100. Wall sits 60-42-42 felt like a failure too

                        No Walk to Run.

Hopefully tomorrow will be better... Arms and push-ups to failure again, looking forward to beating 22 on the first set.

I'm tempted to do it tonight to give myself a little boost. Love the dumbbell swaps on these. They make me feel stronger

Just keep calm and take your time. You will get there with Gravity, K e l l y!

I'm spending the morning trying to figure out what in HOLY HELL I did to my calf muscles...

I didn't work out yesterday. Friday was Gravity leg day and 100 calf raises but they've never given me trouble before! I do them all the time, folding laundry, standing in a checkout line, brushing my teeth. Today it feels like someone stabbed me in the back of both legs. The muscles are sore, and sore to the touch. I'm not sure if it was using them differently when running with mid foot strike pattern on Wednesday?! But I'm trying to get laundry done today, up and down from the basement, and if you never hear from me again it's because my legs gave out and I fell to my death...

Days 19 and 20 of Gravity are upper body and balance so I'm still planning to work out today, doing both to make up for yesterday's lack. I'll (hopefully!) post an update later!

Hahahaha -- yes, it's the mid-foot strike running! Remember when I said my calves were barking at me when I started running? That's why!

They are starting to get used to it, though, after two weeks.
