    Spartan Day 19
Part one, 10 lb dumbbells, got really tough there at the end. Part two, level two with 1 lb wrist weights.

So after two sets of part one I realized it was five sets instead of three. And now I'm questioning whether I did four sets or only three on day 15 which will seriously bug me the rest of this program. When we finish, I'll redo part one of that day just in case.

There is NO WAY that a Taco Bell power bowl, extra steak, no rice and no beans is only 320 calories, because that was freaking amazing. But that's what their website says, so...I will gladly eat the second one I bought for lunch

28 grams. 18 g fat and 8 g net carbs. So so good, sour cream, avocado, avocado-ranch sauce, cheese and pico de gallo on top of romaine lettuce.

Yeah, there's no way that thing is going to make it to lunchtime

                Spartan Day 20
Balance and coordination, level two, and we're two thirds done!! Tomorrow might kill me but it's been a hell of a run.

One Minute Yoga Challenge, Day 1
I remember when I hated child's pose, I felt like my face was smashed into the mat. Now it's just comfortable and one minute wasn't long enough. This challenge is awfully easy for the most part so I think mindfulness will be my focus. Try to channel a little YWA to get the most out of each 60 seconds.

                    Spartan Day 21
I didn't die!! I stuck to level one and on days like this I'm more than ok with that. Pushups to failure 18-17-17. AND I managed 20 jump squats in one go on the third set!

One Minute Yoga Challenge, Day 2
I don't know what that's called. But it hurt after that workout

                        Spartan Day 22
Abs, level two for both parts. That was kind of a long workout for an ab day. 30 minutes total. During the second plank set Lucy came up and crawled under my right side and laid down directly underneath me, looking up at me from between my arms. It was pretty cute.

Oh I forgot the best part!! Zoodles and meat sauce for dinner I didn't cook them this time. Sooo yummy.

                            Spartan Day 23
Part one, ten pound dumbbells except for the last four reps of bicep curls during the fourth and fifth sets which I had to switch to seven pounds. Part two, level one.

I'm feeling very discouraged today I don't know if it's just a low energy day (don't think this is it) or this program is too much for me (which sucks, it's only level three) but I just don't seem capable of keeping up with the progression. Or, equally discouraging because clearly it's designed this way and others have been fine with it, three days in a row of shoulder work with one rest day in between is not ok for my body. That workout took me 35 minutes and while I'm not opposed to the length necessarily I had to stop for breaks during part two multiple times. My shoulders are on fire but I took Redline's suggestion and kept with the weights instead of doing more sets without.

Idk it's just that I know that these programs are so well designed that if I'm falling behind on the progression it seems like a fault with me, not the program. I've been really happy with the...can't find the words I want to use but the way it's developing my muscles...But I'm beating myself up that it seems progression-wise I'm going backwards. Four days ago I did 250 weighed reps of these exercises and now I am only at 180 reps.

                            That's all.

I had a discouraging day as well. I did one of those circuit days on 90 Days of Action. I only did 3 sets and was dripping in sweat. Ugh.

I can see how level one days can be discouraging. They were for me in 90DoA and nobody ever liked them in Fighter's Codex either (I'm looking at you, power days!). But apart from that you're comparing two completely different workouts, K e l l y. If you look at day 15 (not 19, that one hat a different set of exercises), you'll see that you did progress. Plus, you weren't sure if you did four or only three sets for Part 1 back then, so if you didn't do the right amount of sets, that would explain the trouble with today's progression. So don't read too much into this, you are doing great.

PS: Personally I think this is the hardest day in whole the program so far. Not kidding.
