    Health results and meal plans

    Darebee Fam, I hope everyone is doing well.

    I was recently hit with some big news. I have a very low resting heart rate, and I'm no where near being an athlete to be able to justify it. This was coupled with other results having to do with cholesterol and the like. It's so weird because those levels, just 6 months ago, were perfectly fine! :/

    I need to lose weight. Now it means something to me, more than ever before.

    But, the problem is, I think I'm terrible at making meal plans or choosing food. I absolutely love our Darebee programs and I had been doing pretty well, but now I think I need something a bit more pointed and particular, per my health results.

    Has anyone tried any of the apps? Or websites for calculating macros and all of those things? Do you all have any advice that can help me to get started/keep going on my journey?

    I don't track food but did when I was doing some vegan diet practice and used Cron-o-meter which lists amino acids. I basically instinct eat, if I work hard I eat more and when less intense eat moderately. I think it's all about eating moderately.

      I used to use My Fitness Pal for logging food. It has a split of the macros if I'm not mistaken, and they have lots of articles with recipes and activity ideas.

        thinman Thank you for the advice! I will have to find Cron-o-Meter. I have never heard of this app/website/program.

          Anek My Fitness Pal used to be a huge part of my journey. I was thinking about going back to it and now, reading your comment, I feel like it might be a good idea. Thank you!

            I have also used MyFitnessPal in the to great success! I’m switching to FitBit since I have one and want to try it. I’ll let you know how it goes
