Hi all! I have a bit of a problem that I'd like some advice on. What are your favorite easy to make, nutritious, easy on the stomach foods?
So, whenever I get very anxious and stressed, I lose my appetite. (When it's REALLY bad just the thought of food makes me nauseous.) But I know I need to eat, for the energy to deal with what's stressing me out, and because when I don't eat regularly I get migraines.
Typically I'll reach for something simple and filling that doesn't need a lot of preparation- crackers or apples with nut butter, cinnamon oatmeal, sometimes just a cup of decaf coffee. Stuff that's tasty and easy, if not the most nutritious.
That's fine for a day or two, but I'm in a situation right now that is going to last for for about three months, and I'm already losing my appetite. I would like advice on what I could add to my usual 'anxiety diet' to get more variety and the nutrition I need when I don't particularly want to eat. I can't have dairy, but other than that I'm willing to try new things!
Thanks y'all!
