    Stronger not Smaller

    I am going to put my food log separate from my daily check in. I know even if I am not counting calories per say not everyone who reads my exercise log will be happy to read food minutiae. I am at an unhealthy weight but, that is bc of some unhealthy behavior concerning food, so I am just going to focus on being mindful and see how things go.

    630 2 Turkey burger patties w bacon and allouette, roasted broccoli

    Subscribing because I have to think a lot about food to get it right and I'm always curious how others eat. I'm trying to gain so this may not be super relevant but my log is over here.

      Even if I won't say my weight is unhealthy, at least not yet, I am on the way... so, we are in the same boat... let's do it, and kick ass... and get

        oneironaut I used mfp as my journal for years. Lately I find myself using it as an excuse to leave healthy stuff out to make caloric room for cookies so.... hence the current plan lol. It is a good tool, tho. It even has hillarious entries like 'all the things" for 1,400 cals if you just ate a bunch of nonscence at a party etc and don't have measurements for it

        HellYeah it is not an awesome boat, but... at least it seems I have found the paddles >.>

        Yesterday:
        7am coffees (unless otherwise noted coffee had a splash of half and half or whole milk)
        1030- post gym breakfast. Overnight oats w powedered pb, some cherry jam, and a handful of peanuts
        12- coffee
        230- coffee
        3pm - chicken (this week I cooked tenders in italian dressing), w carrots and broccoli which was leftover from chinese takeout, mandarin
        530 - palmful wasabi almonds, mandarin
        1030 - toast w alloutte cheese, homemade pickles, some ham
        1115 chorizo, mandarin, camembert

          Today I was basically a cat. I laid on the couch and ate, lol.

          6am coffee
          7am coffee
          1130 2 bowls lentil chorizo soup
          1 more soup
          330 again
          6 last of the soup
          8pm cheese, crackers, few chocolate almonds, mandarin hot cocoa
          9pm more hot cocoa

          I was feeling gluttonous abt the soup then I did calories math and lol... like 1250 cal for whole pot so who cares.

            7 apple, philedalpha "cheesecake" snack w cherries (I was in fridge looking for yogurt and found this, it needed eating before it expired tho so /shrug)

            715 sushi! Pretty proud here actually, my previous order would of been 4 rolls, 1 of them redic shrimp tempura roll. Ordered Tuna Naruto (tuna and avo rolled in cucumber instead of rice, w spicy mayo sauce to dip), 3 slices salmon sashimi, 1 salmon cream cheese roll. Saved money and calories but was still happy w my sushi
            830 3 year old cheddar, homemade pickles, crackers, tea

            For starting out the day w sugar for breakfast I made some pretty decent choices otherwise. And meh, the cheesecake snack was only marginally more suggary then yogurt would be if I dumped jam in it.

              6 gin and tonic
              630 wanted fish and chips, got fish and mixed veg (which was some rly nice carrots, broccoli, cauliflower)
              might have more coffee or a cocoa or tea before bed

                  Rainbow Dragon I am so picky abt chips/fries. I will eat them, regardless, if they are in front of me...but will only enjoy them if they are perfect. I am really best off just stealing a few from a dining companion >.>

                      44 oz water, 16oz coffee, like 30oz lemonade at bedtime gee I wonder why

                      745 nachos w chorizo and much lemonade (off the rails just a touch)

                      I struggle w water on work days, bc we cannot keep water bottles etc in view of clients and I forget to go into stockroom to drink the water I stash there >.>

                          HellYeah I may have to. On gym before work days I get nearly enough just bc I drink a liter at gym but, I need to have throughout day.

                          130 chicken thighs w green beans
                          530 2 bloody marys, split cheese plate w hubby, bacon cheddar burger (ate whole burger half roll) fries (not whole order)

                          730 gin and tonic
                          120am pb on crackers + hot coca to wind down

                            815 2 toasts, 1 w pbj 1 w cream cheese, pickles, ham, a mandarin, coffee
                            11am turkey sammich, coffee
                            3pm biscotti, coffee
                            4pm chicken, cauliflower rice, green beans,
                            10pm leftover lentils and curry (no chicken)
                            1030 chocolate almonds and much cocoa

                            Saturday: 24oz water, 32oz coffee, 20oz dt coke, 24oz hot cocoa
                            8am scrambled eggs w ham and cream cheese, crackers, coffee
                            1030 yogurt parfait
                            245 curried chicken and lentils, dt coke
                            545 coffee, giant pb cookie
                            930 pocorn, hot cocoa
                            1030 more hot cocoa, chocolate almonds

                            So ya. I really make rediculous food choices in the evening on days that I do not drink enough water. This is a pretty clear pattern. I need to make water a fucking priority bc this is not ok. Also, I am glad I am out of chocolate almonds.
