It really looks gross, but it's the same as yesterday (leftovers) ; in the fridge the coconut milk thickened, and I mixed the brown rice with it. So it looks like vomit, but tastes delicious

Vacation is over, so going back to healthy dinners.

    Sunday September 6th
I made tomato soup, tried a different kind of tomatoes and it worked well (less sour).
    ▪️ Roma tomatoes
    ▪️ Paprika
    ▪️ Onion
    ▪️ Garlic
    ▪️ Vadouvan spice mix
▪️ Extra dried thyme and paprika powder

    ▪️Crème fraîche

My partner uses the marjoram in the tomato puree to sweeten it and remove the acid and when she uses the lentil ragu or the soy granules she flavors them with smoked paprika

Fremen thanks for your input! Do you have some more advise? What kind of herbs do you suggest? I used dried herbs: chilli powder, paprika powder, basil, parsley, black pepper and thyme. I still missed something so thought about the parmesan

Parmesan is excellent in lasagna, it gives more flavor; my partner uses two types of cheese, Parmesan and another cheese that "melts" well

Asian food: chicken with green beans, rice and a spring roll with mung bean sprouts.
My home made crème brûlée as dessert 😊 We only had a little accident there. Apparently the glass of one of the dishes couldn't handle the heat of the burner, and exploded.. (well okay, it wasn't that dramatic, but a piece chipped off). Luckily I had one extra dessert

Because of lack of time, I ate a leftover chicken schnitzel for lunch (to have also my protein for the day), because I might not have time in the evening to cook or eat a decent dinner. I was right, so ate nachos at the cinema.

    Mianevem it's totally worth it!

In the Netherlands, every kind of meat is selled in packs of at least two. So, living alone, I eat the same thing 2 days in a row. That's not bad when it's something with peanut sauce

-> cauliflower with 'chicken - peanut sauce - schnitzel'. I didn't have potatoes left..

I'd try that schnitzel, whatever the Austrians may say.
