    rest days on a program

If I take a rest day while on a program, do i skip the days, or Do I do those days when I'm done?

Not sure if I understand the question right, but you do rest days when and if you need them and resume the program the day after. Technically, there are no rest days in a program, aside from so-called "active rest days". Those are of a lesser intensity, but you're still exercising. If you think you need a rest day, rest, and continue the program on the next day where you left.

Agreed with lofivelcro there are active recovery days built into the programs - however, I've definitely missed days in a program for various reasons. If that's the case, I'll just pick up where I left off the following day. If you can, make sure to do some active recovery or less intense exercise on those days off

I worried that I wasn't getting the same benefit if I took the occasional day off during a 30 day program. I'm doing Total Burn now, and I usually got 4-5 in per week. The other days I was doing active stuff (like yard work or a long walk, etc.) but occasionally would miss a day because of travel, etc. At the same time, I'm feeling good, getting better at the exercises, and staying active, so it's all good. I'm 45, so I actually think I need to give some consideration to my age (slower recovery time) and soreness after the workout. I love to run, too, and I usually do and feel better taking days off between running days. I do think Naila's suggestion in the video of doing something everyday (even if it's yoga or light cardio) is good for sticking to the program, even if it's not the next workout in the series. Worked for me. I've got three more days on Total Burn! Already planning to do 30 days of change next.
