As title says, is important? For example in the morning or rest days where I want to do only stretching?

Do I need to Warming Up before stretching?

always do a warm up before stretching. Its taught in all sports with court/field/diamond sports you run a certain amount of laps with cross country you do a light run around the perimeter of the school property then after a few stretches we actually did some other warm ups like butt kicks and high knees plus arm circles and torso twists to make sure we were completely warmed up and stretched out (warm up took about half a hour and the captains had to make sure the team was warming up)

to me thosse are stretches jumping jacks, march steps are warm ups those are stretches that you do while warming up to see if your warm up enough never go to point of pain just to point of stretch. if you know your stretch range after warm up and you havet made it to that range continue with the warm up til your at that range
