    Caterpillar pull-up bar

    I saw a strange pull-up bar with a German description:

    Klimmzugstange "Raupe"
    According to a dictionary (I am not German):
    Klimmzugstange= pull-up bar
    Raupe= caterpillar

    Does anyone know what are the exercises for this bar and/or some article about it?

    It is an extension for a strength rack of the same manufacturer. The word Raupe is used cause it looks like a caterpillar.

    You can use it for different grip style pull-ups, like hammer, wide, norrow....

      About the bar: What HellYeah said. It's a multigrip bar and seems to belong to a system. So, unless you are capable of manufacturing a mount (tube diameter: 34mm, overall length: 110cm) for it, it's pretty useless.

        Oh right hammer pull-ups.
        Beside wide/narrow hammer PUs is there some other exercise?

        It is part of a system with a standard PU bar for wide/narrow grip.
