    Prone reverse flys

I have a question regarding this exercise:
Can we do it standing up, 90° bent with two light dumbbells to activate the muscles more?

I do them standing straight with 5lb dumbbells, tensing the muscles and squeezing the DB each way. Sometimes use a chest expander.

You could also just do bent over flys and use the whole range of motion:

I guess what makes the prone reverse flys so special, is the awkward position with the thumbs up and the rest of the body 'nailed' to the floor. If you are standing up, even if you bend exactly 90° you have a lot more 'wiggle-room'. If you want to make them harder, pause on top, like 5", and try to hold the position. That is more isometric and will activate the right muscles like hell.
