    What's the case with the elliptical?

    Good morning all!
    Usually, now that I work until late, I don't have the mental courage to run on weekdays, so I either jump rope at home, or go to the gym for elliptical trainer, former for 60 bouts of 45" on/10" off and the latter for one hour, at 13/20 resistance (or about 15 km/hour according to the indicator).
    Though I feel like I put a good sweatwork, similar to j.r., some sources state it's far inferior to it... What's the truth here? I also incorporate handlebars for that extra arm burn!!!
