Picking the right programs for cardio/strength training

    Hello everyone,

I am new to the community. I am try to get back to working out regularly after a while. My main goal is weight loss. I went through the programs database but having a hard time picking a good combination of cardio and strength training. I have a rowing machine. jump rope, dumbells at home and would like to make use of them along with some bodyweight exercises. I feel comfortable with programs that are in level 2/3. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

Weight loss is a function mostly of nutrition, so you should think about how to control your caloric intake. The nutrition section of the site is worth looking at.

In terms of the programs, it depends on what kind of cardio you are aiming for. A running program like 30 Days of Change might be good, but if you are looking to get cardio from skipping or rowing then it could not be for you (though alternately you could swap out walk and run time with rowing).

Skipping doesnt show up in programs except in Heros Journey. It has a good mix as well, and might be worth looking at.

Choosing the "right" program is quite complicated since many factors come into play but from the information you have given I suggest you take a look at:
IRONBORN (It is the best darebee weight program)
and for Cardio / High Burn:
      Reboot
      1-Minute HIIT
      are just a few ideas
