Hi and welcome! Square One is a strength and tone building program without floor exercises or high impact exercises. Plus it has a variety of different exercises which helps keep it interesting day to day.

Welcome, TQ40 to the Hive! Running does put a lot of stress on knees, so how about walking, instead? There are some walking challenges, such as this one that is quite simple but every day you do it, you get to light up a box red! Tick boxes are great motivators for me. Miss_Dada suggested some lower level programmes that could be good to start with, and you can also filter workouts for level as well as type of activity. If any activity is too hard, skip it, or modify it, or substitute a completely different one if you like - the choice is yours. The number of sets and reps is yours to change as you will. Your daughter might find that right now she can't do something, but as she increases her strength, it could be that she can do it later. Zero Hero is a level two programme, but it's not so hard. It's an RPG programme, and the storyline is fun to follow - that can provide motivation.
Anyway, have a look around, try things out. If you need any other help, feel free to ask.

    Hi TQ40 and welcome

How about to start with some easy programs? She can get Badges after , which is a nice and funny motivation

I used Darebee filter for level 1 programs without equipment:

    https://darebee.com/program-filter#s...value=1&page=1

Square 1, Vitality, Baseline... Or she can choose program which she likes and skip or to modify the movement which would be unpleasant for her.

You can do workouts together !

    Best wishes !

Workouts Plans Best Suited for Arthritis

Hello all! I just joined Darebee.
I happened upon some images on Pinterest that really caught my attention. This is just what I've been looking for-- such a wealth of resources and seems like a great community.

My 15 year old daughter was diagnosed with juvenile arthritis last year and it's been hard trying to find ways to keep her active-- partly because of lack of motivation and partly because we haven't found things she can do to build strenth that don't seem to bother her. Was wondering if anyone on here has similiar issues/experiences and can offer some tips.
FYI-- activities that involve bearing weight on her wrists/elbows are a no go, as well as running.
Wrists, elbows and knees are most sensitive areas. And no need to suggest swimming. We know that's a full body workout that does not put pressure on joints
While she needs to work overall body, she really needs to gain some strength as well.
Working...
