    Back hernia and adapted exercises


    Hello bees! Tell me, what cardio / interval training exercises that quickly pump blood can be used instead of jumping and running in place? I have a hernia, and the doctor said to exclude exercises where there are blows to the spine.

    Is it possible to use workouts in the section - strength training?
    I usually choose 2 strength workouts of 3 levels "normal" and 2 levels of difficulty and 1 cardio or interval, press to each and do it for a month, then adjust the program as I get used to it.

    How do you organize your workouts with back hernias and what do you do? What category exercises cannot be done, maybe it’s not only drums, but also some other?

    P.S. Hernia in the lower back.

    If you’re looking for a very low impact form of cardio, try either swimming or cycling depending on the equipment you have at your disposal. Both are excellent options and will get your blood pumping.

      what I did is walking a lot daily during 2 years and started to get some 5k to my belt I started to have less and less pain in the lower back who made me lost weight more easily. After I lost 50 pound I was now able to do jumping jack and running without my 2 herniated disk making me live hell with chronic pain took me 7 years of gradually increasing my tempo. Eating a lot help too, to build muscle around the herniated disk area to prevent pain and injury its would be my second years without cortisone injection. I'm almost back like before but with only some limitation. Take your time be cautious and go at your own rhythm is what I would say

      The other thing don't be scare to replace exercise you cant do i replace sit-up with half crunch until i was able to do 3/4 of crunch and the Russian twist is magic for me because its cause me almost 0 pain. stretching is extremely important too to let you have more mobility.
