    It depends on a lot of factors. How's your diet? If you're eating a lot of junk food then you won't get the abs you want. How long are your workouts? Are you burning enough body fat to get you closer to your abs goal? You may want to increase the number of days you workout from 3 to 6 in order to get the abs you want.

    You can have very strong abs and still not have them show. Workouts won't make your abs show up but a low body fat will. To me a six pack isn't worth it (sub 10% body fat for that to happen for me) but a 4 pack is pretty easy to maintain (12% ish body fat). This allows me to enjoy life and the little things and general healthy eating takes care of the rest.

    I do trunk work 4 days a week (abs are useless without the support of the rest of the trunk) and since I do different things/areas I don't wear out any certain muscle. To get the abs to show through focus on the diet and dropping weight and they will happen. And don't forget patience, lots of it.

    i do abs everyday, rule of thumb is this, if your not sore you can work that area again, and your routine is missing back/chest/shoulders, you should squeeze those in, try this
    day 1 chest/triceps
    day 2 biceps/shoulders/back
    Day 3 abs (very intensive)
    Day 4 legs
    And you can do a causal lite abs workout in between those days.

    How many abs workouts a week

    Hi, I'm excersing on regular basis. 3 times a week: arms, core and legs and run 5 km on these days and walking with my dog every day. But I still don't get the six pack I'm dreaming of. So my question is: How long you must excersise your core a week or how much abs workouts in week you must do to get the abs? Is one workout a week enough? Can I do 3 abs workouts in row in one day? My routine now is: Monday - running 5km than arms traing, wednesday running 5km then abs workout and in friday run 5km and then legs workout, in between these days im walking or doing yoga. Thank you so much for every answer.
