Andi64 that took some dedication! Mind asking what age you started? I always wonder if someone workout at age 50 for example, will he get same muscle growth as a young 25 yo

I am 57 and have been physically active my whole life. But mostly through my work and not by working out per se. I worked as a movie technician (electrician/grip) for 20 years and some days a metric ton of equipment would pass through my hands. It's a lot of schlepping esp. if working on location (like 3rd floor, no lift), studio-jobs are easier. So there was not a lot of need or desire for extra physical activity.
I stopped smoking 13 years ago and got a more sedentary job and around 10 kilos in the wrong places. About the same time I started to work out on a regular basis. I did mostly calisthenics, but had some dumbbell phases in between. I started with Darebee in 2016 with 30 Days of Gravity.
To answer your 2nd question: No. You have to work a LOT harder being 55 to gain the same muscle growth than with 25, if that's even possible. It's in the testosterone levels. Also the joints are more worn down. Shoulders, knees, or pick any joint, are more prone to overworking and hurting. On the other hand I sure know more about my body now than with 25.
I am doing a more strength related workout regimen now for the last year, but I got a good foundation with doing Darebee before. I am 185 cm, 89kg and have ~ 20% body-fat. That's fine with me.
