    Drop push ups

    Hey fellow bees,

In the Hardback workout there are 'drop push ups'. I have no idea what that is, the picture looks like normal push ups. the internet gives many different options (dropping down using steps or a ball, or doing burpees). It's not in the exercise library.

    Who can help me out?

IMHO it's a plyometric exercise. Usually you do those from an elevated starting point like two books, bricks, chairs (if you are very advanced).... You start in a plank on these items, then move your hands inside, fall down and catch yourself in a low pushup/plank position, push up, jump back on the elevation or get one hand after the other into the starting position (like when using chairs which are pretty hard to jump on from a low plank) = Plyo - Pushup. Since that is well out of range from a LIII workout, I guess it's retracting your elbows to 'fall' into a low plank, catching yourself and pushing up into a plank.
