Hello Bees,
First off I haven't been online very much due to circumstances and I would just like to say how much I miss you all! This community is so uplifting for my spirit and I've missed having that in tough times. 😊
I'd like to ask about metabolism today. I've read a few times that people with a history of dieting eat fewer calories to maintain than those who've never dieted before, even at the same weight.
I'm one of those people who struggle to lose weight (add to that I'm only 1.50m in height) and I have to eat very lightly and exercise very hard to see some kind of result. (Note, I also tend towards lower thyroid function.)
I was wondering, will my metabolism ever heal itself from all my years of yoyo-ing or will I have to eat like a pixie for the rest of my life?
