    HELP! How to build a routine to lose fat/ tone for BEGINNERS

    Hi guys! So I'm 20 and 5"1 and 72 kilos. I'm overweight according to the BMI system but I dont look too bad. But I have some belly fat that I want gone and to tone up a bit.

    I did running a lot, but lost motivation as I moved to a different city and been working 40+ hours a week.

    I need help creating a routine I can get into again and gradually build stamina/ strength up. I find it hard to find a workout thats not too hard or too easy.

    The tl;dr:
    Read the manual.
    Do the fitness test.
    Pick a program.
    Stick to it. Motivation is overrrated, try discipline instead. ‚Äč
    Change your diet because you loose weight in the kitchen, not in the gym.
    Show some love to the beekeepers.

      Woodman ... what Andi64 said. You can lose inches in the gym, but it's much easier to lose kg in the kitchen.
      Simply removing sugars(!) and carbohydrates(?) from your diet will - after the cravings are bearable - do wonders for your weight.
      The sugars MUST GO ... the carbs, should go.
      Your guy seems lean enough, maybe just eating less?
      Also, do what my 'nag' (my watch) tells me to do - every hour, get up and walk for a minute (or 5?) and take the stairs. Minor, but helpful. And the boss likely won't notice.
