    Bounce vs Hop

I'm wanting to try 'Pacer' (to some fast paced music to make it fun) but I just noticed the exercises say 'Hops on the Spot' so I'm thinking I need to hop higher than just a bounce style I was thinking. I only ask if there's a difference between 'hops' and 'bounce' because looking at 'Bounceback' it says 'Bounce on the Spot (Hops)' So now I'm confused? Can someone help?

I guess bounce is without leaving the ground or just a tiny bit. Hops are with a noticable gap between feet and ground. The next stage would be jumps.
