    question

Hi, Im 21 and dont currently go to the gym.
I am naturally skinny but have built quite a muscular core structure over the past year or so. However my arms aren't quite what I want them to be. What would you recommend I do to build bigger arms?

    Welcome to the Hive waqapolu
Chin-ups, push-ups (diamonds) for biceps and triceps, Hanging from the pull-up bar (10"- 20"x4 sets to start,1-2' break, work up to 60"x4) for the forearms. If you can do that, sling a towel around the bar and grab both ends and hang from that. You can do some leg-raises while hanging around for your abs if you are bored.

I think that what Andi64 said was good advice. Some other things that I would also recommend are kettlebell swings (or medicine ball/dumbbell ones if you prefer or find them more accessible) and different exercises with resistance bands, like bicep curls and shoulder presses. However, even though it's a relatively advanced and difficult move, if I had to recommend one thing for the upper body for someone above all else, it would definitely be working on wall handstands. I've been doing them every day for over a month now and increasing the amount of time I hold them for every day, and they've worked like a charm for not just my shoulders, but my arms as well for adding on mass. I don't think that I've ever found an upper body exercise to be so effective honestly, and my arms at definitely at their biggest right now thanks in large to it. I remember one day when I was wearing a tank top I was actually a bit taken aback by how much of a difference that I saw, so yeah, if you can, definitely give wall hand stands a shot, they're an AMAZING upper body exercise.

If you have access to dip bars (two chairs work as well) do dips. Great for the arms (triceps and a bit of grip work) and chest.

Eeeee...I injured a shoulder pretty badly doing dips. There are many other tricep exercises that don't stress the shoulder joint like dips do. It try those first: rows, push ups...
