Star Wars Jedi Workout / Meditation queries

Of late I have been going two things.
    1. Not exercising
    2. Going on a Jedi / Star Wars Craze Faze.

I want to try something new out by doing a couple of workouts per week that resembles the workouts or exercises that the Jedi would either do during or after training. I have been meaning to do something along the lines of Yoga or Meditation for a while now but haven't had the time nor energy to do so. Not trying to sound childish or anything but my lightsaber form is no. 3 Soresu. It apparently says that I have to focus on Cardio and Stamina workouts/exercises, but I do want to try doing some Upper Body workouts to help with the Lightsaber maneuvering.

Thank in advance for answering my odd queries

    Hi, Milkman 4 abs !
I am not sure if I understood your question correctly, but here are some things that might be useful to you:

If you are interested in Yoga and Meditaion, there is a program called 30 Days of Yoga https://darebee.com/programs/30-days-of-yoga.html , I think this can be what you're looking for, since it has special days for meditation. If you've never done meditation before, this guide might help https://darebee.com/guide-to-meditation.html . Alternatively, you can use one of these challenges: https://darebee.com/challenges/medit...challenge.html, https://darebee.com/challenges/1minu...challenge.html

For Lightsaber maneuvering, you can go to the "Workouts" section of the site, and ise option "weapons" in the filter, there are many upperbody workouts in there. Mostly, they use katana or usual sword, not lightsaber, but it is better than nothing, use your imagination

As for Cardio and Stamina, use this list https://darebee.com/pick-a-program.html and here just pick one of those where it says "weight loss, streamline & tone", but not with too high difficulty if you are beginner in fitness. Or, alternatively, head over to "Workouts" section once again, and in filter pick "cardio/high burn" or "HIIT/ interval training" options.

I am not as experienced myself, so there might be some flaws in my recommendations, but anyway hope this helps, stay safe and have a nice day!)

      Come to the Dark side?
All the previous suggestions by SFish are solid. The 30 Days of Yoga program is a nice one and fits really well with other training. It can also help you get back into the practice of exercise.

          Hi!
My current workout plan is based on a line in The Jedi Path book about spending equal amounts of time on weapons work, empty-hand combat training, and running. I've subbed an exercise bike for the running for a variety of reasons, but so far so good.

You might want to look at Fighter's Codex for empty-hand work: It's full of good thoughts on both the body mechanics of training and the philosophy behind it and (IMO) is Jedi approved.
For lightsabers, I recommend checking out Katana Week.
I've done the Meditation Month Challenge a couple of times now and always found it useful.
I see a bunch of people have suggested 30 Days of Yoga, but there's also a 1 Minute Yoga Challenge that I enjoyed.

But above all else, what I would recommend is finding just one thing and trying to do it every day: Backup & Restore is a quick yoga flow that doesn't require you to repeat it on the other side and leaves you already seated for meditation. If you combine that with something like counting 20 breaths, you've done both yoga and meditation and it'll take under 10 minutes.

I've been having a go at the backyard totem tennis with my eyes closed but it's obvious that the Force is not strong in this one!
